text won't show on my banner :(

Hi

Just wondered why my text isn't showing on my banner even though its been saved with text and I've merged layers? Thanks
 
I see the text on your banner... What is it supposed to say? It says "the girl next door" for me. Maybe you should clear your cache?
 
Oh... Is the eye icon next to the text layer showing up? If not, the text won't show, even if the layers are merged.
 
Another thing make sure the Text layer is on top!

I've had that problem myself where the text layer becomes the background and then the image becomes the foreground.

sorry to be a pain again but I've made a banner with the text layer on the top and the eye button is on and it still won't show. I don't suppose you know why this is? I've tried everything I know of
 
Can you screen print (what I told you about)? Maybe if we see what it looks like (the PS screen) we will be able to see what the problem is? It's a little hard to know this way. And I can't think of another reason why it won't show.
 
hiya thanks for the reply I've sorted it now.It was because the background and text were the same colour even though there were layers in between!?!I'm not sure but it's sorted.

It's funny how the most obvious thing is the problem sometimes 😀
 
i know! the other day my paint brush and other icons changed from the chosen brush to a cross hair and it was only because i had caps lock on!
