Okay now you've all seen my wonderful, wonderful Buffy signed photos a few threads down, that just may go up for sale in the VERY VERY near future but... your opinions of you please...

A Friend told me the other day he was going to Canada with £2000 and he was going to stay there until he got fed up... so I was like well wow you're brave, you've got a pair on you, Good luck, well the convo went on for half an hour and well it ended up with him asking me if I would like to go.... ::mmm::

Now despite already making efforts to seel my geeky stuff like my Enchantica (Dragons & Wizards), Comics, Cards and possibly signed photos... I was wondering what your take was on it all, I know what Cordy and Angel think... 🙂 but the rest of you, what would you do in my situation... would you accept, pack in yer lousy paying job, leave yer 'wonderful' (Insert Sarcasm here) family and go off on a whim with no telling what the future will throw at ya... Votey Vote Vote....
 
I'd say if you want it, go for it 🙂 it sounds like a great experience 🙂 and if you don't try it... you'll never know 🙂

Like that bothers me...I don't live near Glasgow and I don't go there...its a rule of mine.
 
Once in a lifetime chance...you'll kick yourself later if you let it pass by.....you can always go and come back...but you may lose this chance forever if you don't go in the first place.....
 
I think that you have to ask your self "How upset would I really be if I didn't get to go?"

I think that if you just can't bare the thought of passing up this opportunity, then go for it. If you're not sure, and you're having reservations about parting with your much loved possesions, then maybe wait untill your financial prospects are better.

Just dedcide what's more important.... Not the long drawn out debate decision, but just think about the stuff you'll have to part with and how much that matters, and then think about going / not going and the feeling that inspires.
 
I'm just as indecisive as you. I don't know the story behind this, I don't know how your life is now and stuff, so I couldn't say.
 
Nah its one of those things that If I do do it, I'll wonder how to survive if I want to do it for the long haul, I know the mate I'm going with will help out and vice versa if we get into finance troubles... but I'm just hoping that I can raise the cash in time, its probably just a case of me trying to reassure myself that this is a decision that needs to be a yes... already getting giddy over quitting my 'wonderful' job 😀
