- A 250-mile stretch of the Northeast, home to more than 28 million people, is under a blizzard warning, and another 12 million people are under a winter storm warning.
- From New York City to Boston, the heaviest snow and wind will occur from Monday night into Tuesday afternoon.
- A coastal flood warning is in effect for most of the Massachusetts shoreline.
- Airlines have cancelled more than 7,000 flights for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
- A travel ban will be implemented on all Connecticut roads and highways at 9 p.m. ET Monday.
- All non-emergency vehicles are banned from New York City streets starting at 11 p.m. ET Monday.
- Most major bridges in and out of New York City will be closed beginning at 11 p.m. ET Monday.
- States of emergency have been declared in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
- New York City public schools are closed Tuesday; Boston public schools are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
- New York City subways and MTA buses will suspend service at 11 p.m. Monday.
- The Boston area's mass transit system, MBTA, will suspend service at midnight. No MBTA service Tuesday.
- Amtrak's Acela and Northeast Express services between Boston and New York City have been canceled for Tuesday.
