"That" Question...

If you could have dinner with any three people in the world, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

My three would be:

Leonardo DaVinci - In my opinion, the greatest mind of all time and I think it would be awesome to even have a glimpse of it.

Nelson Mandela - He's overcome so much adversity. He went against the grain and came out the better and I just want to know how he did it.

Joss Whedon - Because I want to know how his brain works. I'm in awe of the points he gets across and the manner in which he does them.


Yeah...it's the old questions that's been done by every single magazine/journal that can't think of anything to ask a subject but I really want to know! Who are your three?

Winston Churchill seems like an ass to me, but I'm reading this biography about Curtin (Aussie war Prime Minister), so I have a slightly different view.
Anyways 3 isn't enough... I'd need a few dinner parties. Mark Twain would be cool, or Maya Angelo, Joss .. but also Jesus ..owh maybe Joan of Arc, see if she was crazy or not 😛 Oh and Shakespeare

Whedon - Mildly overrated(though forgivable being you like Buffy - I think)

You want Wolverine for Faith while you have Rose...ok, does that mean you want an orgy and the ability to watch them go for it?

I mean, Wolvy is a handsome guy, but i'm not sure I wanna se him pumping Faith.

Kanga - Winston Churchill is one of the greatest men to have lived. Obviously we both have bias, but I would suggest that you don't base your opinion based on one book based on another guy.
A guy that gave hope to a nation at one of it's darkest times can't be that bad a guy.

HeartstoDB - gotta say, that's one funked up and surreal Dinner Party.

Personally i'd be with Kanga on the 'few' dinner parties.

I'd love to have themed ones as well. Like Spielberg, Hitchcock and Kubrick. That would be a highlight.

I would also love a Ghandi, Churchill and Thatcher for another.

Finally(though there are so many others) I would like Dante Alighieri, Salvador Dali and Edgar Allen Poe(in a good mood).

I know this probably reads pretentious, and I deserve to be slammed because i've just done the same but it's a good list.

I'd serve lots of wine, and disturb da poo, so a fight would break out. I'd want to see who'd win. The smart money would be on Mohammed of course, because he has the actual hand to hand experience, but I don't know. Jesus could maybe turn him into, a leper, or a loaf, or a fish, or a bunny, or something. Buddha would be the dark horse, because I don't have his stats.

Hmmm.....there are several people that come to mind I would like to have dinner with.


1. Jerry Bailey- He is a world famous jockey. I would love to hear the stories he has to tell about some of the races he rode.

2. Charmayne James Rodman- World champion barrel racer. I would love to hear about what it felt to win the world barrel racing title ten years in a row.

3. Big and Rich- I think they would be a blast to hang out and party with.

If I couldn't couldn't find a babysitter and couldn't go out and party I think would pick George Strait over Big and Rich. I would love to talk to George about his career and what it feels like to be 60 and still be belting out number 1 hits.
