Do you ever feeling sentimental or longing for a past time (specifically THAT time AKA early/mid 90's) while watching older Buffisodes? I was going through my Chosen One collection and realized I hadn't finished all of s1 yet so I watched it from "Hell Mouth" to "Prophecy Girl" and I found myself thinking more and more about the 90's and what was going on then and not just about the show itself. Like I found myself reallying paying attention to details like the kind of soda cans and chip bags they had back then and the posters and hair & fashion styles they utilized in school at the time. Even though I do live in SoCal, I would love to go visit Torrance High and just reminisce about the show.

I always get that sentimental feeling for the 90s when I watch the earlier episodes of Buffy. It makes me wonder about the little things like when my sister had a NanoPet and Furbies, and when really good shows and movies were on TV that I haven't seen since.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to the 90s. I was born in the early 90s so I don't remember much, but I know it was an amazing decade and I wish I could have experienced more.

Actually, my sentimental feelings come when I watch episodes of the original "Star Trek," back when Shatner could still look down and see past his belly, and all of the girls were crazy about the tall pointy eared guy with the bangs. That's what comes from being old enough to draw Social Security.

LMAO!!
I always love to think about what I was doing when buffy was on for the first time. I loved waiting for Buffy to come on again and I'd get so excited waiting for the new seasons. Looking back now I'm really glad I chose to watch it and got the opportunity to watch it when you didn't know what was coming next. I think it's great that it's something I've grown up with and will always remind me of good things 🙂

I think the only seasons that I actually followed through when they were new were Season 4, 5, & 7 (I didn't see much of 6 for whatever reason). I remember flipping through TV one day and seeing Buffy on (it was after the Master got her) and he says; "Btw love the dress" before leaving - that always cracked me up and I was a little interested since then.

Yep, the early seasons (mostly S1 and S2) always remind me of those days. The music gives me that nostalgia feeling.

I do get nostalgic sometimes. I was in Junior High/High School during Buffy's run. Some episodes I can remember watching them live and who I was with, even what I was eating, etc.

When I watch season 1-3, I recall when I was a young child in school, because that's when I started to watch Buffy. What the characters went through in those early seasons, being bullied outsiders who felt they were alone in a struggle of life and death, resonated with me, a drepressed victim of being bullied and ignored by the grown ups.

Then the characters grew, and so did I. College, life, if came to ma as it came to them. So yeah, I sentimental.
