I'm sure at some point we've all bumped into that part of YT, either inadvertently or on purpose......where the videos illicit either hearty laughter, or a resounding "What in the bloody frell did I just watch??!"
I thought it would be interesting to see what you guys have encountered on the weird side, just for shits and giggles. 🤪

I'll start it off with a video I encountered just moments ago. I THINK this person is some performance artist out of the Phillipines, and definitely falls under the "WTF" category. 🤣

Seems those daily shorts count as the weird side. Enough get sent my way that I'm getting tempted to demand those who send them stop, even if I laugh once in a blue moon.

But here's an older one...when one older person asked me what it's like to interact on message boards and social media, I played this short piece for her and said that about sums it up.

My algorithim lurched into asian faux porn for a while . There was this Japanese girl with impressive breasts who does a channel focusing on her daily life as a Japanese woman with an unfeasible natural cleavage . There was quite a large language barrier but that seemed to be the gist of it .Lots of unnecessary bending and stretching 😛. I had a host of them pop up , hot girls doing electronics and whatnot in revealing clothing . These folk weren't short of subscribers either , in the hundreds of thousands .

Not entirely sure what that's about ? Sanitized office porn maybe ? I never subscribed to them and they just disappeared from my feed over time . I was kinda fascinated how you could build a channel and following from vague voyeuristic titillation .

Take this as an example . This girl travels from hot spring to hot spring getting naked . Half a million subscribers . The baths themselves can be pretty spectacular and the Japanese culture is fascinating ...but that's not really the point 😉. This channel is more informative than most 😛 .

Superweird to my Western mindset though .

Some make vids like these (under a minute) HOPING it will be flagged for copyright violation (in their insane system of doing so), so that they can then share how such events are now part of the canon Warhammer 40K lore!

I have had both my search history and viewing history turned off since 2014, yet it still knows exactly how to stalk me as I'm all over the place.
Over the years I have watched the Ricardo Lopez videos, my strange addiction episodes and countless food commercials amongst other things so I've definitely been on the weird side of youtube.

There's so much happening on Youtube that I'm not sure what the weirdest "weird side" is anymore.

Like does Jack Stauber still count? He's pretty popular now but for a while it seemed like people were discovering his videos and being like, "Oh, this is creepy/weird."
