Which episode in series 7 was the 150th episode, I'm assuming buffy had a 150th considering charmed had one and it occurred during series 7, actually come to think of it what was the 100th episode of Buffy, guessing series 5/6 but don't know which.

How many buffy episodes are there?

(I realise this thread may no longer be solely relevant to series 7 now, if so then please can a mod/admine please kove it to the appropiate forum, thanks)

There are 144 episodes. So there's no 150th episode. It's 'cause season 1 only had 12 episodes. The 100th episode was the season 5 finale (which could have been the series finale, kind of) The Gift.

Okay... You beat me :(
There's actually only 144 episodes, because Season 1 only has 12 episodes... If it had aired it's original episodes, there would be over 150... 😀

Oh how bads that why couldn't they just make 6 more episodes, i cant believe charmed has had more episodes than buffy whens it poo in comparison.

How many episodes did angel have? I know they had over a 100 and the 100th episode was your welcome but how many in total where there?

Yea but it's not like the number of episodes decides how good a show is 🙂 Buffy was good to end when it did.. realize that it should.

There are 110 Angel episodes.
(So, 254 episodes, all together.. both shows, mhm...)

Lesson-time for the insanity that is the making of a television season in the US.

When a show is given a green light, they usually make 12-13 episodes. That way if the show tanks, they haven't spent that much money and they can also use them as mid-season replacements or summer filler/fodder.

If the show does well in the ratings, the network orders and additional number of episodes to bring the number up to 22. Buffy didn't have that option because they were a mid-season replacement (which is done because they know some shows are going to fizzle out), though they filmed the show towards the end of 1996. This is why so many of the cast (like Nick Brendon and SMG) look so different when season two began.

But that's why Buffy's 100th episode was at the end of season five and Angel's was in the middle.

well its not Buffys fault, ofcourse fans sometimes try to use that when comparing shows but hey Buffy started off the supernatural gig on TheWB, who knows where Charmed wouldve been if it werent for Buffy and TheWB trying it out.

Just a little factlet while talking about numbers etc. Alexis Denisof appeared in 99 episodes, and was credited for 100th. The finale was of course his technical 100th but due to missing an ep in S5 cause he was getting married he only starred in 99.

thats the only big thing I didnt like about Angel,by the end of the show he was the only charecter left from City of Angels, his orignal co-stars vanished.

^ Yeah I agree in a way. But still, Wesley came there pretty quickly, and he had been on BtVS before. And Cordelia still felt like a really important character to me, although she hadn't really been on the show the last season. But yea, It wasn't like on BtVS, where at least the three (almost four) most important characters where all still there. And many many smaller characters from the seasons before showed up in the last season...

Moving as it is discussing general Buffy/Angel episode(s) and seasons. 🙂

Don't forget Lindsey! He was in both the first and last episode. 😉
