so, how about we put all discussion of what the Big 4 networks(and the little net that kinda sorta could, The CW)will have next year into this thread?

Here's what we do know, as far as renewals:

ABC: They've renewed a bunch of series, including (for us SF/fantasy fans)Once Upon a Time. Cougar Town did not make the cut; however, it will land on TBS.

NBC has done likewise; among the renewals, Community WILL be back(though only for 13 episodes). Up All Night gets the same 13 episodes.

(H/T to Deadline.com for the info in this thread.)

Yeah brilliant news about Cougar Town!

I thought all my shows were coming back. Devastated that it will be 30 Rocks last season, but glad its their choice.

Very happy that Nikita is renewed! It can't end before they stop division for good!

I'm surprised about Supernatural's renewal too
Let's begin with NBC. USA Today has the rough sketches of what will be on their schedule come the fall:

-Infamous, said to be similar to Revenge in tone(midseason)
-Untitled comedy about a White House family(midseason)
-Hannibal, a prequel featuring the Silence of the Lambs character(midseason)
-Do No Harm, about a doctor who has a dangerous alter ego(midseason)
-Revolution, a postmodern Western from J.J. Abrams set in a world with no electricity
-Chicago Fire, the latest procedural from L & O's Dick Wolf
-Go On, starring Matthew Perry as a sportscaster in therapy
-The New Normal, about a gay couple and the surrogate they use to start a family
-Animal Practice, about a House-esque veterinarian
-Guys With Kids, about 3 immature dads

Dane Cook and Anne Heche will also front midseason comedies.

Not mentioned so far are two of my favorites, "Castle" and "Hawaii Five O," both returning for at least one more season, plus "Burn Notice" will be beginning its new season before much longer.

Ha, "Chicago Fire" is the name of a soccer team!

It is indeed. Start the clock on when the REAL Chicago Fire tells Dick Wolf "Change the name of the show, or we'll sue your asses off." And with that, cue the Doink Doink sound...

About the only show that might be up the sci-fi/fantasy alley is NBC's Revolution, and it's an interesting concept...

WA: CBS hasn't revealed their schedule yet. But both the shows were already green-lit for another season.

Likewise, USA Network hasn't announced their plans.

That Revolution sounds really interesting, but I generally like JJ Abrams.

I am so excited that most of my favorite shows are continuing. A lot of them had kickass finales (Grimm, Castle, and Bones especially). I'm happy they're giving my beloved Fringe a half season to wrap things up, although I will be sad when it ends. 🙂 I wasn't surprised nor disappointed when Ringer was cancelled. I did like seeing SMG on my TV screen though & I hope she'll find something else (better).

The summer season is gearing up: Doctor Who, Drop Dead Diva, and Necessary Roughness are all coming back.
