First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for coming tonight. In this, our 15 year anniversary of the boards, it is amazing that we can still hold an event like this. It really shows how special the members of Buffy Boards are. I would also like to thank nightshade and Mr. Pole for making the lovely award buttons.

And now, to the real reason I'm standing here.

We are debuting a new award tonight - one that I think has been a long time coming. I'm very happy to announce the creation of the award for the moderator who in the previous year has gone above and beyond the call of duty, supporting her teammates and taking the initiative in multiple projects, while being a champion for the members and the board as a whole.

This new award will be chosen yearly by current and former members of staff.

I am proud to name this award the Athena Award for Moderator of the Year and bestow it upon it's namesake, Athena. Athena is never shy about helping on an activity, giving ideas, or just supporting another staff member. She has been a real treasure, and we could not have gotten through this past year without her.

Now, Athena didn't know about this award, so let's try to convince her to come up to the stage and give us a few words.
