The absolute best badass moment of this season

My vote goes to the episode. Whether it was in Touched or End of Days I can't really remember. Buffy finds that cool lookin' scythe thing, and the potentials are cornered by 3 ubervamps. this instrumental build-up type music comes on and Buffy comes crashing through the roof and destroys them in like 10 seconds. I don't think anything else in season 7 made me that excited. Well either that or when Spike put his leather coat back on and killed that demon. that was pretty sick too.

I'm going to have to get back with you on this one. Maybe I'll watch it again in order to be able to decide. It's been a while since I've watched season seven. A good, long while.

I would have to go with Spike's fight with the time portal demon in the alley. We see very little of it, but in the last few seconds, after quite obviously having the crap beaten out of him by a much stronger demon, Spike suddenly jumps up, head butts the demon, and, screaming like a banshee, snaps its neck. "I don't know about you, mate, but a fight like that? It's good for the soul." That line for me ranks right up there with John Wayne's "Fill your hand, you son of a..." (surely you've seen "True Grit." If not, you have to, just for that one scene)

You don't have a soul if you haven't seen True Grit. Right there with ya White avenger.

I happen to like the moment in Showtime where Buffy is fighting the Ubervamp. It's like a "so that thing can kick my ass...I'm still gonna kill it" sort of moment.

Also when Buffy tells the First to get out of her face in Chosen. I like the taunting the First does, "Ow...Mommy, this mortal wound is kinda...itchy..." And Buffy gets up and it all angry and gets her second wind....that's kick ass.

buffy is a complete bad ass in a lot of moments in this season. i agree with the first post about her dropping in and dusting all the ubervamps in like 2.5 seconds. also when buffy gets wounded and falls, passing the scythe to faith who goes absolutely nuts. that was a cool moment too.

I loved it when Buffy was fighting the first Turok Han in "Showtime" and she says that she is what the monsters have nightmares about. That is the best line ever. Gotta give her kudos for that. Best KA moment was either that or when she ripped Caleb in half w/ the Scythe. That was very cool.

My favorite moment is in Touched, when the scoobies and potentials have voted Buffy off the island--and she's alone in a deserted house, and Spike finds her. His speech is perfect: it's the most eloquent he's ever been, and so genuine and heartfelt. I get tingles thinking about him saying, "A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of: you." and at the end of the speech, "I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy."

When Buffy gets the sword thru the back and she hands the scythe to Faith to hold the line and Faith is pissed cause her girl's down, and she goes all postal on the baddies...That moment.

But, the whole fight scene in Chosen when the song, Slayer Victory plays out to the end is the most empowering scene. That music by Robert Duncan is just brilliant and everytime I listen to it I feel this emotion boil over me.

There are too many kick ass moments in season 7 to pick just the one but ranking high on the list is Showtime when Buffy apears to take on the ubervamp. "It's time. Welcome to Thunderdome." that's hardxcore. Also, at the end when she's clearly beat up but proves that the Turok-han can be killed and says "Here endeth the lesson."

Have to say, she knows how to conclude a fight =]
