Cassie: "I'm fairly certain that he's student. I think he might be in the 'watcher program' but I guess I could be wrong. I still have several students who've yet to show up in my class, I guess it takes a while to get coordination of an entire school down."
::Moon watches for Cassie's reaction inconspicuously::

Cassie: "It is, for the most part, but there have been a few people recruited to help you gals. Some of the girls here aren't slayers, but witches, and I've heard in 'admin' that there are a couple of boys and girls with special gifts who are training to be watchers...just to help of course. Not everyone who really wants to fight the evil... can. We don't all have slayer strength, some are just like myself, they feel a need to protect... with other gifts. It's our duty as teachers to give everyone the chance to try, the chance to help. Picture it like scales, the evil forces on one side with their demons and monsters and sometimes gods, and us on the other...wouldn't you much rather see witches and watchers and support along with the slayers?
Eventually they'll be another school specifically for the training of witches or watchers, but for right now this one is all we have. Don't worry though, the W's wont be taking any of the weapons/combat training with you, they have their own course on basics later, I think."
::Moon-Ji looks out the window and takes a sip of her coffee, then turns back to Cassie::
Cassie: "What is the next class you have?"
 
Autumn Meyer - Witch/Teacher

(OOC: Sorry guys, had to run. I'm back now!)

:😛ulls out the box of chalk she brought with her::
(But what to I write?)
::Enchants the chalk to write "Demonology 101, Autumn Meyer" on the board::
(Now I just wait for the students)

::Kathryn looks at the clock and sees that it is time for the next class.::
(Hmmmmm, demonology. Mabey this class will have something worth knowing.)
::Kathryn walks into class and sits in the back.::
 
::Cassie looks at her timetable::

Moon Ji: Uhh, I think I have demonology with Ms Meyer at 2:30"

::Looks down at watch::

"Oh darn it, its 2:35, Im late!! I will talk to you later miss, thanks for explaining!"

:: Cassie smiles at Moon-ji then jumps out of her chair and power walks to her next class ::

(Oh, I hope we have a good teacher... who doesnt hate on people being late)

::Cassie gets to the room and knocks::
 
::hears a knock at the door::
Come on in. Grab a seat anywhere! I'm Autumn. Please don't call me Ms. Meyer. This is Demonology. We'll wait a minute to see if anyone else stumbles in. While we're waiting, let's go around and introduce ourselves. Let's start with you in the corner there.

:: Kathryn sighs and awkwardly stands up again.::
"Ummmm, I am from Boston. I love to watch the Red Sox games. I am here because my parents sent me here..... And my favorite color is blue."
 
"Thank you, Kathryn. I promise, you'll never have to do that again."
::smiles warmly::
"Who's next? How about you?"
:: points to Cassie::
"Tell us a little about yourself."

::Nervously enters the room::
Autumn: "I'm sorry I'm so late, I got lost."
::Sits down ast the nearest empty desk and looks quite ashamed::
 
::smiles warmly::
"That's fine. Take a seat. Tell us about yourself. This is the first class, and for the next two, any tardies are excused. That's what I have to say, anyway."

(OOC: Did you mean to say Orion, not Autumn?)

(OOCs: No, I'm playing Orion, they said to use the format -NAME OF THE PERSON YOU'RE SPEAKING TO: "Blah blah blah"- so I put Autumn: "blah blah" when I spoke to you. Sorry if I wrote that confusing, Im a little low on the making sense powers today.)

::Stands up, smiles back at Autumn, and clears his throat::
"Umm...I'm Orion, Im in the Watcher Training Program, and I'm really excited to start learning. I'm twenty-six years old, I'm from Oregon, and I like music. Uhhh...I'm an only child, and I dont have any girl cousins so this whole mostly women and girls thing is sort of new to me. I guess that's it."

::Sits down::

"Thank you, class. I guess we'll get on with the actual learning then, hmm?"
::Grabs textbook from her desk::
"Did everyone get one of these?"
::Hold up book::
"If not, there's a lot of them in the library. The school publishes them, so we have a TON left. You'll need this book for sure."
:😛uts book down::
"I have a course syllabus for you all."
::Sends papers across the room with a hand gesture.::
"If you could read this on your own time, it would be much appreciated. I've also sent you a student information sheet for you to fill out and bring to class next time."
 
::Kathryn looks at the thick text book and the large list of books she had to read::
"Oh God......" she mumbled.
(Maybe I should just give up now..... I could so make it on my own, I slayed all the time by myself in Boston.)
::Kathryn put her head down on the desk.::

((OfC: I messed up before when I said she had only slayed once.))

::Watches papers fly across the room in amazement::
Autumn: "Holy crap! Are you the Magicks teacher too?"
::Grabs his syllabus and info sheet and neatly tucks them into his bookbag, then stares at Kathryn as he "listens" to her discouragement and frustration::
(She's so gorgeous, but I think she might be somewhat...dim, what's with these girls, the only one that seems to be very intelligent is that blond girl, cassie)
 
:: As I am about to say something Orion bursts in, and Cassie is saved from making something up, she then recieves the book and course syllabus, doesnt even look at them and puts them on her desk ::

(Demonology is new I guess, they better not start with teaching us about something easy like vampires or werewolves)

Autumn: "Urr, what now? Do you want us too read these?"

:: smiles politely, and then looks at Orion ::

(He is gonna have a challenge if he has never lived with girls again)

::Catches Cassie's eyes, and smiles::
(She seems really cool, and it sounds like she already knows so much I wish I could watch them during Combat/Weapon training)

::Turns toward Kathryn and whispers::
Kathryn: "Hey, everything is gonna be fine, you can do this, it'll be fun."
 
::Orion startled Kathryn causing her to jump a little in her chair.::
(How does he know what I am thinking? ..... Oh right he can read minds! How could I have forgotten? Oh right! Maybe because of this stupid book list?!?!)
::Kathryn looked over at Orion and smiled.::
(I can't wait until we have combat lessons.... I know I will be good at that.)
