I'm sorry but that's not how it works.
"If you wish to be adopted by an existing member then all you need to do is create a thread asking to be adopted. The first person to reply to the thread will then become your mentor on the boards. There is no limit as to how many adoptions one member can have, but please let other members have a chance to adopt. Also we ask that you do not add 'family members' in your signature."
You had the chance to adopt BuffyHead (Watcher wanted!) and if you're lucky he'll still be available when you come back. But if not you just have to have an eye open for threads in this part of the boards and be fast once someone wants to be adopted. Just make sure that you yourself know your way around the boards. Not that you need to know everything (not many do) but you know. Being able to help out your egg with things.
