How many of you like anime or manga? If not, are you thinking of starting? Write your thoughts here, favourite anime/manga, preferred genres (seinen, shounen, shoujo etc.) for some obsessive discussion.
I, of course, love both, but mostly read manga. Some of my favourites include Death Note, Hikaru no Go, Blood+... and let's not forget every single freakin' Studio Ghibli film. (I actually went to the Studio Ghibli place in Tokyo! It was awesome. There were doors that led to nowhere, and doors that led to mirrors, and cool staircases and an iron man on the rooftop, and a cat bus that only those under 12--or something like that--could go to. Luckily, when I went, I just managed to fit the age limit.) I'm currently watching Naruto, since I can't be bothered to read the entire manga, but the anime is still so long. I'm not even on Shippuden yet... Right now, I'm following Bakuman and Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I'm planning to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell. Yeah. My obsession for anime/manga has died down since my mad studying this year and getting more overrun with BtVS.
Some of my friends cosplay quite a bit, but mostly from mangas I'm unfamiliar with or never bothered to read. Like Full Metal Alchemist--I know I should read it, but...--or Rosen Maiden.
