Each year, the Minions of Ultimate Drew have banded together to raise money in Drew's honor for charitable causes.

In 2003, the Minions raised $120 to purchase a goat for a needy family in a developing country through Heifer International. This organization emphasizes sustainable agriculture and vocational training, particularly for women.

In 2004, the Minions raised $400 in conjunction with the Wolfram & Hart Annual Revue for the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center. This center is one of the last community centers left in Los Angeles and provides classes and activities for youth in the South Los Angeles area. Donors to the Drew Goddard Birthday Project were put into a raffle to win one of two Tales of the Vampires, Vol. 1 comics personally signed by Drew. DrewGoddard.com also served as a sponsor of the Revue and donated merchandise items to the raffle. All together, the Revue raised $18,000 for the Wooten Center.

This time, we're collecting donations for the American Diabetes Association. The project is being done a little bit earlier than usual because of issues with my schedule in February - the donations are being timed to coincide with the start of the new season of Alias in January. Our chosen charity provides diabetes research, information, and advocacy for the millions of Americans living with this disease. Drew has been consulted about the choice of the charity and is excited about the project. For more on the Association, visit their website.

You can make a donation in any amount to webmaster@drewgoddard.com through the PayPal link below. Although I prefer PayPal donations - they're just easier to deal with! - if you must write a check or send cash, you can e-mail me and I will give you the address to use to send your donation. Along with your donation, you can send a message of support to Drew about his new job on Alias and his first episode of that show, which should air late February/early March. I will compile all the messages and send them to him. Like last year, there will be some sort of prize given out to at least one of the donors. I apologize for not having more details, but Drew is very busy over on Alias and we haven't quite worked out what he's giving me to give away yet! If you are unable to donate, you can still send a message to Drew by using the form below. This project will end Jan. 5, which is the date of the Alias premiere, and the donations and messages will be sent shortly after. If you have any questions about the project or the charity, please e-mail me.
