The ANTI 'Anti-Willow' Group

you know why i love willow or you should olo.
I think she is so cute and quirky and i feel that she is a very powerful character

She's a totally dynamic character, going from the push over to having the confidence and abilty to push back. Just about EVERYONE can relate to that change that occurs between teens -> adults and hers is a wonderful depiction of that natural evolution of sense of self that everyone goes through.

Plus I was into Wicca stuff before it came on the show, and LOVED that it was her that adopted it.

And I would totally turn gay for her because she's utterly gorgeous and wonderful!

There's a million reasons, why I <3 Willow, and these barely scratch the surface, but they're probably the most articulate ones I have hahah rather than simple fanjoy over her 😀

I loved Willow from the very beginning. But boy am I glad the part got recasted. I loved the geeky, shy high school Willow, the more confident college Willow and the "godess". The magicaddicted Willow and Dark Willow not so much, even if I can relate to them. I´m mean, I got crushed then Tara died. I´m pretty sure I would have reacted the same way. We all have our dark side. And I don´t know why I get hung up on it so much, but I totally love the fact that she´s a lesbian. She´ll do pretty much anything for the people she loves, and she´s a redhead. Can´t get much better than that.

And I would totally turn gay for her because she's utterly gorgeous and wonderful!
"Sometimes I wish I was a lesbian .... did I say that out loud?"

With the exception of Spike, Willow has grown, developed, and matured more than any other character on the series. She went from high school wallflower and geek to a mature woman self confident in her sexuality as well as her power, from the shy little thing needing to be protected to one of the most powerful warriors in the fight against evil. She has faced and overcome everything from the ridicule and contempt of her peers to the loss of the great love of her life, and ultimately overcame it all to become the person she is today.

I've loved Willow from the beginning.
She's adorable, she's sweet, she's funny and intelligent. She has grown immensely over the course of the series. She's human, so even if I don't like the magic-addicted, manipulating, flaying-people-alive Willow (and really, who does?), I can understand it. She has insecurities - a lot of them - but she's a strong character that's always changing and fighting. She's a pillar for a lot of the other characters (Buffy, Xander, Tara) but at the same time you just want to hug her and support her right back.

willow and xander were my fav's from day one, and kinda never changed (as much as i love anya) willow grows and goes through so much during the seven years, and im glad we got to go through that with the character... plus the cuteness!

She's Willow! She's cute and smart and feisty! I think she's the glue that holds the scoobies together.

While I do love Willow, I think Xander is the one holding the group together. When he got hurt in S7, the house fell down and Buffy got kicked out.

ha ha great point, he spent season 7 keeping that house literally together.... carpenter that he is... and eye goes bye bye and house did too... whole town in fact

The writers actually mentioned the meta of Xander holding the house together in S7 in the commentary of Dirty Girls.

phew i'm so glad i found this thread, i saw the anti willow one and nearly fainted.

I LOVE Willow!!! I find the character so easy to relate to - i'm a lil bit of a nerd - and she's so cute and bubbly and everything i'd want in a friend. She develops from the shy, nerdy, self-concious little girl into this confident women (Goddess!). I love all things willow, i mean i started watching buffy from season 6 and that's when you see the darker side of willow when she falls into her addiction and i still loved her and thought of her as the best character. Dark Willow and Vamp willow were also awesome!

And I would totally turn gay for her because she's utterly gorgeous and wonderful!

I'm so glad someone else feels the same way, that's THE ONLY person i would ever consider.
