The Appreciation thread

Valentines day is closing in on us and I really don't like the entire commercialism thing it's become and the idea of having one day a year where you are supposed to be nice and lovingly is just twisted. However we tend not to be so nice to eachother, it's easier just take for granted that people know what you feel and nothing having to bother with telling them. That made me thinking (I do that sometimes) and this is what I came up with ;

This is a really nice site and it's great fun to post in the forums. Different opinions and beliefs without a lot of trolls and spam. Even though the intense redness of Buffy Boards School of Slayers and Demon Hunters sometimes makes me lose grip of my keyboard having to cover my eyes who are otherwise used to Salvage, this board is one of those where the colour schemes and the lack of 10 secs gif loops leaves you with a site you can spend a lot of time browsing, leading to a lot of posting.

What I'm trying to say is that this is a very nice forum and that you guys deserve some cred (not just the Admins and the Mods, but the posters as well) so this is my appreciation post.

Appreciation all around.

(just so we are clear, this has nothing to do with Valentine's Day, maybe a little, but just a very little)

But yea, I agree. I've been to MANY boards and none that I'VE seen are as active as this, and one's that are, aren't in the least as much fun.

I'd like to give a shout to the Admins, who each and everyone of them, rock in their own little way 😀

It is the members that make the forum. It's the fact that you are sweet enough to open threads like this one. You are all lovely. You ROCK!!!!

You are so right! I love this forum because of the diversity of opinions (even if I dont agree with it, I still respect them). Everyone here Rocks!! This is the only forum I have been to that you can just be yourself and be accepted. The talent that is here (art forum and fanfic) is amazing. The mods and members are fantastic. To be honest, this is the first place I go when I get on my computer after I check my email. Thanks for this thread. This is definitely a great place to be!! :spinface:

Ok, some thing I ove about Buffy-Boards:
Even though there are so many members, you feel like you are someone and not just one of all the others, kinda. At least I have some kind of opinion about most of the active members. (And I have good opinions about most of you, that's what's so great I guess). There are so many cool, smart, interesting people here. I'd like to be best friends with you all (hehe, I'm feeling the tears coming).. Really, even though I don't agree with everyone's opinion about everything, most people seem really cool and really nice and I love these great discussions we're having all the time, lol. BB is definitely one of the three (ok, two) best boards I know, and I've checked out quite many..
