The awesome score of "Chosen"

Hi everyone!
I couldn't find a thread about this. My apologies if there already is one.

Anyway, I was watching Chosen a few days ago and then again I noticed the great score of the final fight.
It is one of my favorite episodes and the fight always sends chills down my spine and tears start to fill my eyes!

Especially the scene where Buffy is lying on the ground after getting stabbed by an àœbervamp.
The First appears in front of her.
-"You pulled a nice trick. You came pretty close to smacking me down. What more do you want?"
-"I want you... to get out of my face."
Then Buffy stands up and keeps fighting and you hear this brilliant music and all.
It's just an incredible feeling!😱

For me the music has a huge influence on a movie or a series.
A good example is John Williams I think. How would Star Wars or Indiana Jones be without his music?

What do you think about the scene and the music?

Star Wars wouldn't be near as climatic with John Williams score.
That music is awesome, whenever I hear it, I imagine Buffy saying "I want you to get out of my face" 😀

Otherwise, Howard Shore rocks my world 😀
 
The music is pretty darn awesome. Infact since bits of it play over part of the menu on my s7 DVDs, I will happily let it keep playing those same few bits over and over instead of turning it off. So surely that means it's awesome music! (Or I'm really lame. One of the two.)

I love everything about this score. 🙂 The build-ups are amazing. When Buffy catches the scythe and the music just takes off, I get chills. When Buffy and everyone are fighting, it sounds like an epic battle. A score that could easily be in a movie. When Spike is going to sacrifice himself, the music changes and slows down (but still intense). And the music when the fire erupts with Buffy and Spike's hands...eat your heart out "Close Your Eyes" theme, lol! (Just kidding, I like that score too). 😉 But, I absolutely love the "Final Fight" score. Simply perfect. 🙂
 
I love this song. I grabbed it off of youtube, and put it on my mp3 player. It is very well done. I had to go back to Chosen and watch just to see where this music started and what was going on onscreen during the song. Buffy has a wonderful soundtrack all the way through, it is worth every penny, and time it takes to get it all.🙂

Yeah, I noticed re-watching the Spuffy scene in Touched, and even I'm pretty sure, the angsty cross-draping scene in Beneath You, that it's the same theme that plays over those scenes as in Chosen. In my book, that qualifies as a Spuffy anthem.
 
I wish they would've released another score album- the one that's out is all Christophe Beck, so mostly seasons 2-4 with some of 5 (The Gift). But that score from Chosen, it's amazing. I put all the scores I could find (the score album, plus Close Your Eyes on the BTVS album, plus Chosen from the Radio Sunnydale album, as well as some other extras on the OMWF album) onto one playlist, but I never thought to look for them on YouTube! I will definitely do that now. 🙂

I don't remember what I used. I found a link to it on one of the songs I was listening too. The author of the video put the link in one of his comments. It was one of the Buffy songs from Beck in seasons 2 and 3. Really wish I could remember for you, it worked great.

Just google "Youtube to MP3" and you should find a few sites.
