The back story to Giles?

Is everyone else loving the exploration of Giles' past in Angel and Faith... I always loved him as a character, and knew he was a very wise individual with a dodgey past. Although we got some insight into his past from the show, for me it was not enough, so now I am loving seeing all these flashbacks, or seeing other characters explain his background. It is one of the most enjoyable parts of this comic series for me, and makes me yearn for the ripper series that has been denied me for so long!

I'm loving it, I was unsure about getting the Season 9 comics for A&F but after reading the first issue I ebay'd the ones I'd skipped after that. It's ace! I love how we are seeing the boy that became the man.

Yeah I'm loving it. Considering we still haven't got Ripper its great to see his past in the comics. His past was always a bit of a mystery even with what was explained in the show. Its great to see how he became a watcher, Ripper and the wise librarian we know today
