I went to a pretty big con about a month ago and there were the usual amazing costumes of anything and everything you can imagine. Just as I was leaving I saw the most astounding (and yes very amateur) costume.

A guy had taken some wire netting and made a sort of cone shape. He stuck fluff to it and spray painted it grey and had glued little plastic sharks all over it. BEST costume at the con...SHARKNADO!
 
I like some cheesy mid-to-late 90s alt rock like Local H and some stuff from early Buffy.
 
I've always had what I called guilty pleasures. Never was good at hiding it either if I even tried to hide it at all. Nowadays I might not scream it out to the world but I stand for what I like. I can however call some of the things I like "bad". Not everything is of great quality but it gives me joy in some way and that's it. I'm personally not a fan of the Twilight movies but I don't care at all if others like or love them. If they claim that they're the best things ever I start losing it. At the same time there's something about Kristen Stewart that I like. I still haven't figured out that though.

I like Dara O'briains stand up bit about guilty pleasure involving the bit "It takes a lot more than Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight to earn the title guilty plea... You'd have to actually have a man after midnight to start."

I secretly love Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Ke$ha (actually been going through a major Ke$ha stage atm) The way I dress and such screams punk rocker and I love metal and punk, so yeah all the mainstream pop is a guilty pleasure.

I also have a slight guy crush on Taylor Lautner (I really liked his latest movie Tracers) And loved the first two Twilight movies (they lost me at the third and by the last movie I was cheering in the movie theatre for Edward to get his head ripped off. The kid next to me was mortified that I wanted Edward to die)

I had a party recently and Taylor came up on the playlist... Oh I had a few people say straight away "You have TAYLOR SWIFT on your iPod????" There goes my badass points...
 
Sharknado for one . I love Tara Reid in there. I have about 30 movies I can never show my friends or else they
think I have no taste at all 🙂
 
Okay...there finally IS something that I'm ashamed of. I would NEVER tell any of my metalhead associates that I actually rather like the song "Karate" by Babymetal. Seriously, they will never know!!!
