Dec and Cat never kissed! and when people would phone in a guess a word or phrase and Dec would always get really frustrated with them! (i remember something about a donkey!?)

Oh, no, you're not too old. SM:TV was watched by more parents than kids anyway. I think you're just viewing it out of context. On a Saturday morning, with the whole show, it worked really well. Plus, it was kind of a slow burn thing - parents had no choice but to watch it - these things came on between epsiodes of Pokémon! There was no alternative! It's the kind of thing that just gets funnier and funnier the more they do it!
