Hi everyone! I was just curious about what you all thought was the best decade in history.

For me it would have to be the 80's! The 80's gave us big hair, awesome clothes, and DEF LEPPARD! The 80's was the best era for music!

But you're 16... you weren't alive were you?

Or is this just any decade? Regardless of being alive or not? 😛

If so!.... Still 90's

No, I wasn't born yet. It's just any decade you like! Regardless weather you were alive or not!

The 90's would probably be my second favorite! It brought us Buffy and Alanis Morissette!

And Babylon 5! Stargate Sg-1!! Roswell ^_^ haha : king : Okay, the 90's because I can't think of any others

Well, that's 90's for me.

That's the time when I matured, became the person I am now. Many good things happened to me back then.

During 80's I was a kid and hardly remember anything.

The 90s just rocked for me. I thought it was the best time to be a teenager...still do. haha. But second place would have to go to the 70s...with late 60s thrown in. haha. Some great music then, like really great.

the 90's. definitely the best decade for music and television. it was the decade i grew up in. i was born in the 80's but it was the 90's that helped make me the person i am. plus, a lot of the bands i listened to back then is making a comeback now. like Take That.

I think, for me, the best decade is the one we're currently in, 2000-2010, although we still have a couple years, so...

Other than that, the 90s.

The WORST decades overall...the 70s and the 80s.

I've often felt I should have been alive in the 40's or the 60's.

My best decade personally was the 90's, tho I am very, very fond of the 80's.

You have the coolest banner ever! I loved Jem, I was even her for halloween once long long ago. Way cool
To cast a more serious note on the subject, my vote for best decade would be the '50's, because that was when Dr Salk perfected his polio vaccine.

1060-1070 - what a decade that was.
Full of intrigue, war, pain, suffering, love, architecture, tapestries, monuments, murder, heroism of the common man, famine, disease.

OK, thats the same as pretty much every single decade.

Also

1210 - 1220 the greatest thing ever written came from that time - The Magna Carta.

Ohh and the 80's because it birthed a future leader and most wonderful human being - me🙂

im a big fan of the 80's. that was my childhood. i listen to the 80's station all the time in my car on sirius satellite radio.

plus, do you remember the jim carrey movie "once bitten?" classic vampire movie.

Jim Carey and Lauren Hutton. Hilarious movie. Jim was the last virgin in California.
For me it has to be 1840 - 1850 (more precisely 1830-1848) because of the romanticism and the Spring of Nations.

As for something nearer, I'd say the 80's. That was a great decay with all the japanese animes airing on the French TV.
