I (this morning) got back from LA. My friend and I (fallen angel) contacted Radium to go over and do work experience with them and also interview them for a college assignment. So anyway the Visual Effects team moved from Radium and set up Zoic and we finally (after months of waiting) went last week, and it was awesome.
We went on the Buffy, Angel and Firefly sets, went on location with Firefly, saw how they did the effects met David Solomon, Tim Minear, Kelly A. Manners, Loni Peristere (he's the reason we went) and lots of other people.
We watched them shoot some stuff for Buffy, with all the cast. The first time we went on Buffy SMG, James M & Nick B were the only ones there, but the second time everyone was there.
It was the best time of my life. I wanna go back!!!
 
I'm dying of envy, which I'm sure to go to hell for. So you met the whole cast?! The only chance I will ever meet the Buffy cast is the day I become their stalkers. (Which I'm sure to be one day🙄.) So, yes, lucky you, and it sure as hell better be the BEST day of your life! I feel so happy just knowing I'm on a board filled with people who have met some of the cast. I still have hope, and the stalker idea to fall back on.😛
 
So do you have some info on the scene they were shooting (should post it in spoilers) or some pix?
 
When we were at Angel we'd been told to go to stage 17 and off we went. We get there and they're not filming in there so we go out to stage 7 where they should be and as we step outside we see Stephanie Romanov in one of those golf cart thingies. She smiled at us.
To actually go into the hotel was so cool, and Cordy's room. I picked up some of the trophies, it was so awesome. And on the front desk in the hotel they have business cards with Winifred Burkle, Charle Gunn etc on them. I was tempted to steal one but I was too scared!
At Firefly (on location) I was talking to Sean Maher, he's cool, I saw Summer Glau too.
Back at Buffy had my photo taken by the "100 Killer Episodes" sign, in the bronze sat below the sign, on the stage in the bronze, at the lockers in the high school. I went in to Buffys, Willows and Dawns rooms and Xanders apartment, also this cave which was really creepy.
I was watching some editing going on for an up-coming episode, I was shown how they dust vamps using after effects and all that (it was the vamp buffy dusts in 7x04 at the beginning), it's very complicated.
 
I was in Bath last year and I saw ASH walking about noone noticed him! I asked for an interview which i felt bad about cos he was just doing his shopping but he didnt mind 🙂. Twas very cool to be sure.

PS he seems taller in RL than in buffy
 
Well that's very logicall, cuz Sarah is the smallest ... right ??? even Michelle surpassed her!
 
I took some pictures, not that many coz you're not allowed to on set. I have some of the Bronze and the high school and people who work at Zoic (they do the VFX). If anyone wants to see them PM me and I'll e-mail them to ya.
 
That is so amazing! You must be so happy!!! I'm really envious too! I don't think I would have resisted temptation - I would have taken a business card!! 😉
 
Blunt as I am, I would have just simply asked them for one of the cards. My motto has always been, if you don't ask for it you'll never get it. the worst thing that can happen is that they say no.
I am happy for you having had this wonderful opportunity!

Well I was going to but the guy who was taking us around (Loni Peristere) was on the phone, so I couldn't. But I'm not too bothered, I got to go so thats all that matters.
