There's been a lot of disagreement over who the Big Bad of Season 6 is. Who do you think it is? Dark Willow or The Trio?

I personally think that the main villains in Season 6 were the Trio. They were the main threat throughout the season, and proved to be pretty competent criminals despite several... setbacks. Plus, Josh Whedon himself stated that they were his favorite Big Bads.

I believe Evil Willow was the consequence of the Trio's actions, more than the main antagonist. Like the Primal Slayer in Season 4, Willow was created as the last threat of the season after the gang took care of the primary ones.
 
Evil Willow by far, the Trio was more of a nusiance than anythign else, yes Warren was a threat and possibly a worthy adversary, but Willow was truly a worthy adversary. Evil Willow was definitly IMO the Big Bad of season 6.
 
The Trio are the main villians of S6 as they were a arc over the season, Willow took over the final episodes being the big bad, she would of not became it without the previous bads of the season so it makes them the big bads of the season!!!
 
Season 6 had TWO Big Bads (ranking it up there with Season 2 as the only season of BtVS to have had multiple Big Bads): Willow Rosenberg and Warren Meers. Warren's fellow Troika compatriots, Andrew and Jonathan, were never elevated to Big Bad status, but Warren was (through his actions post-'Dead Things', but especially through what he did in 'Seeing Red')

Also, Season 6 somewhat followed the same Big Bad setup formula as Season 2. In Season 2, Spike and Dru served as the season's Big Bads from 'Lie to Me' through 'Surprise/Innocence', at which time Angelus replaced them as the Big Bad for the rest of the season. With Season 6, Warren served as the Big Bad from 'Dead Things' through 'Seeing Red', at which time Willow became the Big Bad for the season's final four episodes. Also, Warren joins Spike and Dru in another category: BtVS characters who served as both a season's Little Bad(s) and Big Bad(s).
 
I say Darth Rosenberg, because she was really evil, and she was the one who needed to be defeated, like all other big bads, unlike the trio.
 
Definetly Dark Willow.

The Trio was just lame. As Buffy put it: "What you guys just banded together to be pains in my ass?"

Willow really presented a threat to the group. She was kicking everyone's butt, and it was more of an emotional connection for them all as well.

All the trio did was get caught, lost 2/3 of it's members, let Warren selfishly murder his ex and manage to only get 'lucky' with one horrible bullet. (I use lucky in context of their only bad thing they did... not lucky because they killed Tara.)
 
Yes..I mean did they really present a threat?? They were quite amuzing,but nothing more than that

It's more of an individual interpretation of what happens during the scene in Villains where Willow shows up at the hospital. I feel that Buffy does die (and I'm not the only one).
 
Digific and Ana:

I am not sure if Buffy died when she got shot. I think she was on the verge, because the doctors were proclaiming "we're losing her!" (drama). But I think they probably would've saved her, without willow.

Just wanted to put my opinion in on the subject.

What do you mean 'Back on topic'? 🙂 This is on-topic, cause it pertains to the discussion of whether or not Warren gets Big Bad status.

Anyway, like I said, it's all up to individual interpretation.
 
well even if it was the trio, they were after buffy and buffy was after willow and willow was after the trio, pretty convient eh? ::evil2::
 
I agree with DigificWriter, I think they were joint Big-Bads.
