Do you guys remember the Book-it that Pizza Hut used to do? Do they still do it?

Anyway, I am part of a group that tries to read at least 50 books a year and we call it The Book-it as well.

I was sort of wondering if anyone would like to join me in this next year, since I enjoy doing it.


I totally got to my goal this year and since I feel super accomplished about it, I feel the need to show you guys. 😀 I have a list and everything. I've even bolded my absolute favorites on this list. 🙂 I am too excited about this. . .

What a great idea 🙂 I got a Kindle for christmas so I'm getting back into reading, definitely going to try and read 50 books in 2012. I haven't read as much this year as I'd have liked to, unfortunately philosophy books are too time consuming to read anything on the side.

I read more books in 2011 than I had for a long time, because of my Kindle. I set a target on goodreads for 45 books but I didn't make it, I blame Spuffy fanfic. 😛

But I'm going to set myself the target again for 2012. Anyone here a member of goodreads? I could do with more friends on there lol.

They do still have the Book It program through Pizza Hut... My daughter brought home a certificate for a free personal pan pizza that she got for reading so many books at school. 😉

I miss reading... I don't ever have time to just read anymore.

I loved the Book-it program in elementary school! Does everyone in your book-it group read the same books? Or does everyone just try and reach 50?

I may try something like this. 🙂

Oh that's an awesome list and program, I would love to try something like this since I love reading 🙂 2011 I don't think I got through 50 books (not sure haven't counted but it sounds like a lot) but I blame reading the Old and New Testament through not once but twice... that took both some time and commitment my friends 🙂

I'd love to reach 50 for 2012 though 😀 Must make a list!
