The book "Monster Island"

I read it years ago, it was good. Better than that Heat one anyway! Think Id prefer a season 1- first half of 2 amalgamation movie tho, with spike as big bad.
 
I've read it and I love it! It's a brilliant crossover, very true to the characters, and it was the very last Buffy book I got rid of (for a good cause of course, how else to get the youngens into it? 😉)

I don't necessarily think it's better than Heat, but I really liked Heat so I'm just gonna go and say that they're equally good.

I'd definitely recommend you to read it.
 
I think this book would make an amazing film. All the main characters are in it except for Faith, but that could be easily remedied. They mention in the book that they cant get Faith out of jail because she'd previously broken out and was now in isolation, which isnt true. I would have liked to have more Giles in the story, which again could be done by showing more of what happens in Sunnydale.

All the characters are well written. There's great action and humor. I like the little Bangel moments and there's the death of a character so it covers everything in my opinion 🙂
