I'm sitting here watching the Red Sox starting to blow the 7 point lead they just moments ago held. The chants of "Who's Your Daddy?" are loud and clear at this point. Are they going to pull another Buckner? Are they really cursed or is it just in their heads??

And the Yankees get creamed!!!

Yes, I know I'm from New York and therefore ought to be rooting for them, but they just annoy me to no end. Besides, it's fun to root for the underdog.

Oh man that was so awesome last night. They came back from being 3 games behind to win the pennant. I was SO happy. I think they're gonna win the series. The curse is OVER! Red Sox ALL the WAY!

Not a Boston Fan. (Sorry to All Who are). But I was Rooting for New York Cuz I don't Like Boston. And What the Hell was New York doing In Game 6. I got mad at Nw York and I was not going to be rooting for Boston so I Didn't Wach Game 7 Becuse One New york was not palying that good in the Last Game and Two Didn't Want to Wach Boston Win. I really Hope Boston Does not Win the win the series...
P.S. Game 5 was A Great Game...

Boston are so not gonna win the world series. They must have sold their souls to satan to pull that one off (as he's not too fussy!). I was at Game 6, and watched Game 7 last night. There were some bad calls on those two games which could have altered things. At the game there was a Boston fan who was being loud and annoying who got beat up. And lets not forget that S.W.A.T came onto the pitch.

The Curse will still remain, it won't be lifted until they win the series which isn't going to happen.

How did I know it would be you that would post this Cordy 😉

So, So, So many sour grapes.....

So now that the Red Sox CREAAAAMED the Yankees I believe it's our turn to say Who's your daddy?

The Red Sox WILL win because they are a solid team who can put forth a solid effort and aren't spoiled overpaid crybabies who thought they'd easily make it to the world series unlike like some teams. The curse is now on the house of the Yankees they won't win another Series for 100 years. Yup.

Um, it was you who said who's your daddy...

Solid team? Yeah excellent base stealing and you know I don't believe I've ever seen two wild pitches by a pitcher in the same inning... How does it feel to have to rely on the other team playing poorly in order to win?

Have fun being swept in the world series.

And once again, they actually have to win the series in order to break the curse...dude, they lost to the Mets in 1986...

And by the way, the Yankees are the nicest group of ballplayers I have ever seen on a team. They don't have to point at a player and tell them they are going to be hit by a pitch to make themselves feel like big men - they actually have talent.

Ahhh OK

Nice Av by the way! Atleast now I don't have to associate you with your av anymore because I'd be really confused by that one 🙂

**Begins a slow clap**

Yes....very good. Gotta give it to Boston, they hung in there.

Enjoy your moment in the sun, Boston fans....because the Boston Red Sux (not a misspelling) will go down in flames in five games. (a rhyme..cool).

Enjoy the World Series.

Signed,
A still-in-denial Yankee fan.

I guess the definition of swept means winning the first two games. We are well on our way to winning the world series. Regardless of the 1986 lost we creamed the yankees and that pretty much says it all right there. This world series is just the icing on the cake and it will taste delicious.

So your defense is that your team played poorly and that's supposed to be a put down to Boston? Umm Okay.

It's easy to be a fan of a winning team. Most Yankee "fans" don't even hop on the bandwagon until they make the playoffs or they are fans because it's popular to be a Yankee fan. The Red Sox fans have heart that the Yankee fans can't even begin to match and this year has been our reward. Go SOX!

You can admit you're wrong now and you might save some face.

Now while I can understand that you want to defend your team, and yes back home in the UK there are people who do wear the Yankees logo because of the logo, they know nothing about the team. Which annoys the hell out of me. But as you pointed it with the use of the word 'most' not all fans are like that. I've witnessed some die hard Yankees fans while i've been here.

I"m sorry but I find it absurd that you claim that Yankees fans do not have as much heart as the Sox fans, every team has fans that support it because its popular to, and every team has the fans that love the team and have supported them for years and will continue to do so. So what is your evidence for this claim?

I haven't met many Sox fans, living as I do/did in NY, but I can make a pretty good comparison od Yankees fans and Mets fans. Yes, there are a lot of really devoted Yankees fans, including a few who have spent the past few years wishing their team would loose so the people who only liked them because they kept winning would leave the team alone. Still, even if there are the same amout of True Yankees Fans as there are of other, less lucky teams, the large number of hangers on who don't really care bring down the average. That's just the way it works.

Did you watch the first three games? Beaten 19-8 isn't exactly creaming the other team...

Exactly - it's easy to be a fan of a winning team. Yankee fans are always Yankee fans. How many people only cheer the Sox because they were playing the Yankees? How many Red Sox fans are fans when they are losing? Have you ever been to New York?

See I don't have to admit I'm wrong, because I'm not. The Red Sox have made five errors in the first 2 games. They are horrible. They are lucky.

Your attitude just prooves my point about the way Boston fans treat other teams' fans.
