Just now realising that maybe I shouldn't have mixed codeine pills with Sativa gummies. I've done it before and everything was fine...but today it hit me like a ton of bricks. The room was spinning when I tried to get up and I almost blacked out. I couldn't breathe. Eventually I calmed down and took some deep breaths. And I'm now just sitting here, watching nature documentaries.
Normally, I LOVE a good high. But THIS experience scared the crap out of me. It was like my body was shutting down. Haven't had an experience like this in years.
NovemberTake it easy, the come down might be brutal too.
I was just thinking about DeadlyDuo, one of the rare people who could match (and sometimes surpass) me in regards to insults. Sometimes we'd go back and forth, just insulting each other for the hell of it. Why? Because we were good at it, and we knew the other person could take it. 🔥 Sometimes it was "veiled" insults, other times it was straight up verbal warfare. Scorched earth, take no prisoners, you know. Damn, she was good. Definitely kept me on my toes.
I still can't find that old thread where Buffy Summers once told us, "Please don't refer to each other as whores or prostitutes." (That's not a completely verbatim quote, but it's close enough) 😂
Just veering off topic slightly... Buffy's outfit in the series finale makes me chuckle. Nice shirt, jacket and shoes that don't look battle appropriate.
Makes me think of Bryce Dallas Howard and Jurassic World - her running away from a T-Rex in heels and a nice dress.
If that were me, facing a dinosaur or an apocalypse, I'd be looking for flat, comfortable shoes and attire. 🤣
Uber, Amazon and airlines use surge pricing. Wendy's will now introduce it, joining more companies that adjust prices based on real-time demand.

Uber uses surge pricing to entice more drivers to a busy time or place with better pay. But apparently, the theory here is that when you are already having to stand in a longer line, you should also have to pay more for the same food. The new CEO is planning to spend $30 mil on this initiative. How about give him the boot, and use that money to pay the workers better?

That, and a ponytail tie. Women are always depicted with their long hair tidily flowing behind them as they run or fight, whereas it would really be getting in their eyes!

No no no. Having customers stand in line LONGER AND PAY HIGHER PRICES FOR STANDING IN LINE LONGER are multi-quadrillion dollar ideas. Wendy’s is clearly planning on improving the obesity issue by getting rid of customers, making them hopefully eat healthier. So brave. 😭😭🤧 Give this unsung hero another multi-million dollar raise/bonus. 🙏🏻
One major supplier says it is experiencing a "short-term" CO2 supply shortage on the east coast of Australia", but the ABC understands it is not known how long it will take for supplies to be restored.
