I bought new black walking shoes to go with my new black socks. Now I'm replacing my FAVOURITE shirt because it's faded. (I'll probably dye my jeans black, because they've faded as well)
Shirt is only $14.99 on Amazon and it comes in tall sizes. 😁
The FDA I think; I am not American. I came across a reference saying that, and I think it was the FDA, had standards for the maximum amount of insect matter allowed in food per million.
Probably not going to watch the Oscars. I have university reading to do and I don't know where to watch it in the UK. I will probably catch the highlights tommorow though.

I am now down the Fleetwood Mac rabbit hole. That book I just read which was (supposedly) about Stevie Nicks sucked big time. But it was free on Kindle Unlimited, so I read it. However, NOW I've read a free sample of another book about the band....and I have to actually BUY it if I want to read more. It shows major promise and I'll probably get it. Without going into too much detail, I know a hell of a lot about this band (especially Stevie and Lindsay). But it's always fun to read new things from people who actually know all of them. Like, I never knew that Christine actually punched Lindsay in the face during a concert. 😄
Some people were asking for some photos. Here's some highlights from our trip to Savannah...
Mon: Day 1 - got in pretty late. So nothing much to post about except when we walked around it looked great even in the dark!
Tue: Day 2 - First off we were up kinda late. So GF decided we should shower together. In this fancy dancy shower.
Ok 2 things: Fancy shower fun is amazing. However it doesn't do anything to conserve time (nor water) 😉
So another hour later... seen this neat 10K step tour online. We decided we'd do that on day one...

What should've taken a whole day was over in half day. To be fair we didn't linger or do everything listed. 😳
So around 2pm or so we end up on Savannah Riverside. We decided to get late lunch at fancy place my bestie had given us $50 giftcard...

Then back on the trolley for more mis-adventures. BTW - the trolley drivers/guides are a hoot! 😀
After that we wandered around and ended up back on riverside. Bought chocolates at 2 different place.
Guy at 2nd place gave me a handful of free chocolates! My GF was like: he likes you. I'm like - I like him too - he gave me chocolate! 😀
We decided to nab dinner at this neat little British looking pub...
It's expected when visiting Savannah to stroll along many elaborate homes. For a time, bigger meant wealthier, and the prior owners weren't shy about showing off their assets. Thankfully preserving beauty and architecture has been equally important to our city, allowing locals and visitors to...

Between tours we decided to nab lunch at Popeyes. My 1st time ever. Of course they were out of chicken sandwiches!
Was kinda disappointing overall. 😳 We decided to stop into this fancy chocolate place...
We were at the Library location. Literally spent $50 ($40 for dbl level small box for bestie who gave me giftcard) just there! 😲
To be fair the chocolates were amazing! 🥰 BTW - that doesn't include the $10 I spent on chocolates at the other places 😉
We resumed few tours and then just wandered around before getting dinner & drinks at Mexican place near our Sonder
We had to leave kinda early the next day so no late nite mis-adventures for us that day.
Fri: Day 5 - early uber to airport and rather short flight home
Capitol building
fancy chocolate place!
Leopold's Ice Cream ♥
Armstrong house ↓
Green -Meldrim House
Inside - opulent much?
♥ the architecture in Savannah. BTW - that's real gas flame!
BTW - we suggest Sonder & Airbnb when traveling. Saves buncha money & nice having a whole little apartment to yerselves 🙂
So I woke up today to a message saying fraud prevention happened and shut down an Uber transaction that I didn’t make…IN ENGLAND
Pretty sure a certain scumbag thought they were going to be slick and use my credit card again after all this time because it’s “convenient”. Needless to say, blocked that card immediately, now it’s locked down and the card number is bad and I’m getting a new one reissued. When that’s done, I might get a new debit card number too, just to be on the safe side.
Also saw my Amazon account was apparently paying for an Amazon prime sub these last two months that I’ve literally never used or signed up for. So I shut that whole account right down too.
Update on the prime: Think it was a free trial I forgot to cancel. Could’ve sworn I did but the timeline matches up.
Anyanka Bunny SlayerI had a similar problem a couple of years ago. It was Bank of America, and I'm SURE it was an inside job. Someone took over $700 out of my account. 🤬
