I was going to wait for the after Easter sales to restock on chocolate, but maybe there will be none?
I am practically certain there will be Easter eggs on Easter Monday at least. After that, I think it will be very hit or miss.

Chocolate prices have surged due to a shortage caused by unfavourable weather in Africa where most of it is grown. Chocolate is now at $ 10,000 per ton, making it more expensive than copper - and copper is so expensive now that construction companies have to store electrical wiring under lock and key.
The only thing that surprises me about that statement is the bolded part. The sale value of used copper has always been high enough that (in the states at least) the theft of it from construction sites, abandoned homes, etc, has been an issue for decades (someone stole all the copper wiring and plumbing out of my grandparents' house when it was being built in 1978).

Pure metal of almost any kind is always at risk of being stolen so it can be sold. My city passed a specific law making it illegal for people to raid recycling bins for aluminum when they are put on the street since it is the sale of the metal that keeps recycling affordable enough to have curbside service.

I now own eight fluffy pillows and they're all right next to me. Usually they're on the bed, but I brought them out here to the couch. Oooh, they're so soft! I'm really, really comfortable. I don't want to get up and shower because I don't want to leave the pillows. They need me. 😄

I've given up on post-holiday sales on candy. Either the store chucks it out at midnight and moves right on to the next holiday, or they offer it at 50% off the original price, but that's not even as good a deal as the sales were before the holiday. I'm not even sure what candied holiday comes after Easter, but they'll think of something!

I have to chuckle at that. They'll put items out months in advance, and as soon as said holiday is over, they've packed everything up the next day like it didn't exist.

Leave the items there for a couple of days, at least.
