Update The Buffies 2011

Questions:

- does one have to nominate someone in every category?
- can you nominate someone for several awards?
 
I don't know that I've really been here long enough to choose all of these. Can we just vote for some of them?
 
*Sings horribly off-key* Awesome! I love the Buffies. 😀 Last year's Buffies audience party thread was probably my best BB memory EVER. Can't wait!

Nope, you don't have to nominate people in every category, just the ones you feel you have nominations for.

And yes, you nominate people for numerous categories if you wish.

Of course Mods can only be nominated in these categories:

Storyteller Award - Best fanfic posted (or completed) in 2010.
Sunnydale Art Gallery Award - Best piece of artwork posted in 2010.
Xander/Anya Award - Funniest BB moment (a thread, single post or series of posts) in 2010.

Also, don't forget that for your nominations for these three awards you must send an accompanying thread and/or post to what story, piece of art or funny moment you are nominating.

And, as always, any member of the voting panel (non-mod) who is nominated in a category will not judge that category(s).

Sounds great! I wasn't active on the boards when they did the Buffies last year... So I'm hoping it's just as good, if not better!

Is it Best Artist or Best Piece of Artwork we're nominating for?

It's basically best artist, you can choose your decision based on one piece, but the award will be going to the Artist.

Please can you send them in all at once, otherwise it gets confusing.

I have updated my initial post with some of the answers to the FAQ in this thread so please check the start of the thread to see if the question you want to ask has been covered.
 
In the past I know we were not allowed to vote a banned member for the Doyle Award. I assume that's still the same right?

Well apart from the fact that they would not be here to collect any award....no banned members are not eligible.
