Yeah it was lazy to do some actual research on stuff TVD did first before Buffy to point out that eben though Buffy didn't copy TVD it's not exactly original.
Thanks, I'm really good at it 😀
Again, I dont think BtVS stole the ideas (maybe if I keep saying it, it will sink in!), but I was just helping you to become a bit more enlightened on some information you had wrong. You're welcome.
Nope wrong again, did you get that from the point where I said things done in TVD can't be copied from BtVS if they were in the source material first, or the point were I explicitly said I dont think Buffy stole ideas from TVD books??
I would ask you to quote me where I said Buffy copied TVD, but you don't seem to read posts so there's no point. Also I'm bored of arguments you make up that I said so I'm done discussing it with you
"I mean, why aren't people complaining that BtVS ripped off the young high school girl in love with an older brooding vampire?
Or being caught in a love triangle between two vampires?
The fact that the main character is a blonde spunky high school girl? (in the books she's blonde)
The fact that the first vampire love interest was a good vampire, who lived on the streets living of animal blood?
The fact that the second vampire love interest starts out as a villain, helped out the main character when it worked in his favour and then fell for her?
Or the fact that the main characters best friend is a red haired witch (in the books she's red hair)
That in the first book Elena dresses up in a renaissance dress to impress Stefan (Which Buffy did similarly in season 2)
The main character is killed in the books, after being turned into a vampire and is resurrected.
There is a friend/frenemy of the main character who a little vapid and selfish and was her rival for their version of "homecoming queen"
That same friends boyfriend turn out to be a werewolf who leaves her..."
All this. 🙂
I read your posts just fine. I know you just contradict yourself all the damn time, it must be hard to keep track. 😉
I'm so done with this. We both agree that Buffy and tVd are shows with vampires in, of varying qualities, that both of them have cribbed from popular culture with varying degrees of success.
This thread is called 'The Buffy Rip-off Diaries', it shouldn't be. There is no sustatative evidence that it ever did, and there's even less to indictate that Buffy did the reverse.
Let's stop insulting each other. (or rather you stop insulting me, I'll stop baiting you. 😀)
