Who else loved BuffyBot?

I'm a huge BuffyBot fan, & I swear, SMG pulled it off so well!

Your favorite BuffyBot moment(s)?

I have several, a couple from S-5

BuffyBot (to Anya) "How is your money?"

and to Willow: "Angel's lame. His hair grows straight up, and he's bloody stupid."

In S-6, to Spike: "Sorry I questioned you, Spike. (Spike looks surprised) You know I admire your brain almost as much as your washboard abs."

Heh! gotta love the BuffyBot! 😀
 
I loved the occasional hints of sentience . . . worrying about Spike not liking her anymore, trying to decide whether to save Spike or Xander (I think . . . it may have been Giles . . . I forget) and deciding on Xander (Giles). Little things that made her not so much the robot and almost a person.
 
Buffybot is great! I'm sure SMG had a fun time playing her/it!

My favorite two moments of are the above "Angel's lame" line and, even if it got ruined in German dubbing, that insane "knock knock" joke at the start of "Bargaining"!

I loved BuffyBot too! My fav moments:

Xander: Yeah, how was the whole vision-quest experience?
Buffybot: I don't understand that question. But thank you for asking. ;

Buffybot: I had sex with Spike. (Willow winces again) I'm sorry if it bothers you. You're my best friend.
Willow: I-I am. And I, I always will be, no matter what you do. I, I'm just trying to figure out why this happened, and I, I think with ... your mom and everything ... everyone was being all sympathetic, and, and making you feel weak. A-and Spike wasn't like that. So, just this one time, you just ... did something kinda ... crazy.
Buffybot: (shakes head) It wasn't one time. It was lots of times. And lots of different ways. I could make sketches.
Willow: (disgusted) No! Buffy, there is something seriously wrong here! I ... (the bot looks confused) Okay, yeah, you've been with a vampire before, but Angel had a soul.

Yeah, the Buffy-Bot was great. It's just too bad that Angel couldn't have been visiting Sunnydale during that episode. Imagine the expression on his face if he had been the one who ran into Spike and the Bot in the cometary. He would have completely blown all of the gaskets out of his brood-o-meter.

Buffybot is classic! I love her mispronouncing Giles' name - 'Guy-les' then giving him that big dumb smile. Fantastic stuff!

love that too, I always assumed it was Joss poking fun at all the people that were like "JosH we love your show, and that Guy-les character is great too" cause he's amusing like that :)
I love the Buffy-bot charecter. She was hilarous. They should bring her back. It would be fun for them to use her every now and then.

buffy bot was awesome she played it sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo well and there were some great moments my fave was Angel's lame. His hair grows straight up, and he's bloody stupid

LOL! Always sounded dirty to me
I admit, the Buffy Bot wasn't my favorite. I found her hilarious, but ever-so-slightly creepy. SMG did an outstanding job, but the Buffy Bot gave me a slight case of the wiggins.

to me, Buffybot was VERY creepy in one scene: when Dawn is sleeping next to her/it recharging lifeless & open-eyed

I agree. I enjoyed SMG's portrayal of her, but it creeped me out.

I think the writers must have been smoking something not too far removed from what Spike experienced at Woodstock if you catch my drift. :lmao:

Ah, to be able to have the technology to create something as sophisticated as the bot... hhmm... now where did I leave those schematics? 😉
 
I love BuffyBot. I think SMG did a great job playing the buffybot.. "She" really looked like a robot and she was very very funny 😀
