Do you mean as of today given their current ages, or do you just mean when the show was on or just a hyperphotical? I tend to think that the Buffy Spike team would have a bit more of plan going into the battle, but on the other hand its possible that Angelus and Evil Faith would be more willing to go to any depths to come out on top and for that reason I choose them.

Mostly, it was just a question in general, since at no time within either series has that combination of characters existed simultaneously. At best, Buffy, ensouled Spike, and Angelus existed at the same time in Season 7/Season 4 but Faith wasn't evil then. Work out any time line or combination thereof that suits you.
 
In that case it would have be Buffy season 4/Angel Season 1 timeline in which case I would give a slight edge to the Buffy/Spike team. I guess it would have to take place at the start of season 4 though as that's before Spike had the chip in his head. I just think that Buffy/Spike would be better at putting their differences aside and working as a team. Could see Angelus/Evil Faith getting a bit too cocky at times too.

I think that Buffy and Spike would be more able to work as a team than Faith and Angelus, mostly because from everything that we've seen of Angelus, he's always been more prone to plot and scheme, setting up traps and ambushes rather than getting into a stand up fight. Faith, on the other hand, is just about one step short of a Viking Berserker. She likes to dive into the fight head on, caution to the wind. they would have a hard time reconciling their different styles.
 
Angelus would kill Faith - having got her distracted, thinking he was on her side - and then he would go after Buffy and Spike with abandon.
 
Angelus runs off rather than face a slayer and her 'pet' vampire (as he would see it).

Evil Faith stakes Spike- it's what you do with vampires and she wants to get to the main event- Buffy.

Buffy and Faith fight. Buffy manages to subdue a tired Faith and knocks her out.

Angelus comes back and smacks around a weary Buffy, almost killing her.

Faith stabs Angelus in the back before he can finish the job. Nobody messes with Buffy except her. Then, confused, she runs off ala 'Who Are You?' Leaving a confused Buffy.

While I like the level of detail you put into that it is a bit of cop out leaving both Buffy and Faith alive meaning that there is no clear victor😀

Fantasy?

Angelus and Faith have the upperhand, because the villains must always have the upperhand. Spike is cowering in the corner afraid of the sexual tension as Angel is the meat in a Slayer Sandwich. They are out for blood though, and not the pleasurable kind. Buffy implores Spike to join the fight but he covers his eyes and calls out for his mum. "You killed her!" Angelus mocks him. There is no hope for Buffy now. One she could defeat, but both of these foes working together? No chance.​

Suddenly, silhouetted against the full moon an image repels from the rooftop. Looking like the love child of Batman and Captain America, Riley Finn comes to Buffy's aid. The tide turns in the favor of our heroes as they easily dispatch Angelus and Evil Faith. "I've missed you" Buffy whispers in Riley's ear before she buries her lips into his. After a steamy embrace, and job being done, they turn to head to the Riley Cave. "What should we do with him?" Riley asks of Spike, whom now crouches in a puddle of his own urine. "I'm fresh out of depends."​

Deus ex Machina is cheating, and Riley the love child of Batman and Captain America? Batman and Wonder Woman, maybe. Bats might try, but Cap don't swing that way.

Didn't you say ensoulled Spike? Ensoulled Spike never did those things, sorry.

Evil Faith on the other hand has tossed Angel (an ensoulled vampire) around like a rag doll- she wouldn't hesitate. Spike would (presumably) hesitate when it comes to murdering a slayer.
Hesitation means instant dust.

Like I said fantasy answer because there is no quantifiable way to justify any of it- half these people never fought each other. 😉

Mr. Pole's answer is better anyway.

I agree. Angelus is not the type to team up with someone he's against (unlike Spike), he doesn't play well with other and he's not really the fighting type. Now Faith and Angel vs Buffy and Spike would be a better match, but as it, I'd say Buffy and Spike would win. Buffy knows how to fight Faith, and souled Spike could handle Angelus hand to hand I think.
 
I think ensouled Spike and Buffy would win. They'd have more focus than evil Faith or Angelus, who likes to talk, for one thing, and if it's a fight to the death, the good guys would win.

I only see Angelus working with evil Faith if it was in their mutual interest to do so, i.e. if they were cornered and the only way to survive would be to work together.
 
great question/situation. The only parameters I would put on this is that the fight would take place after both shows have been completed.
1) If it's a straight fight with no running away and no time to prep, just throw them in a pit with weapons and see what happens...I think Buffy and Spike would win. History has shown that a straight fight is Angel's strong suit, not Angelus's. And although a evil, post jailed Faith could be an unstoppable crazy force...I think Buffy's vastly superior training, experience and discipline would trump Faith. And although Spike is a much deadlier fighter when he is evil, he is still a good fighter while ensouled so he is no liability.

2) If it's a situation like in Angel S4 when Angelus was on the loose and Angelus had time to play mind games, I think Angelus and evil Faith would win. I believe with Angelus's mind and Faith's brute force, the two divide and conquer the team of Buffy and Spike.
