Well Xx, as I've said before, you're my Drogyn house buddy, so I'm going to help you adjust to the board.
You're wondering why you're "game" isn't catching on, and why people would spoof it, right? Here are some possibilities, and suggestions on how to fix it.
First of all you're calling it a game. It's in the wrong forum. Find a forum where it fits.
You tell us this didn't catch on the first time, and you're solution is to post it again. I'd suggest altering it a bit, but keep the basic concept intact.
You've made it complicated where it doesn't need to be. If you want to know who's the most popular, simply post a poll. This wouldn't fit in the Games forum, but there are forums where it would. If you're unsure how to post a poll, I believe there are instrusctions in the FAQs. If you're still unsure you can PM me, and I'll try to help.
You've posted this same kind of Hollywood thing on multiple occasions. Make it seem different.
If you want to do a contest thing, here's a suggestion.
Go to the games forum. Give three names something like:
1. Jewel Staite
2. Mercedes Mcnab
3. Julie Benz
Ask people to arrange them in the order they like them the best. Take 5 votes. Get a winner and move the winner against another 2 contestants.
You'll notice I used supporting characters. You're in a Buffy/Tru forum. If you start with Sarah and Eliza, you'll have no place to move to find a more popular contestant.
Try to avoid the Hollywood thing. People seem to be trying to tell you they're getting tired of it. You might try another Hollywood thread in a month or so when it seems fresher, or post your game in a general entertainment related forum.
With the suggestion I gave above you might name it something like Whedonverse Popularity Contest. In this way you could use any celebrity with a connection to a Joss Whedon project.
