The Cemetary

At what point do threads get sent to the Cemetary? Is it when they reach 200 posts or is there a time frame? I know some were sent to the Cemetary back in August as part of the re-boot even if they didn't have 200 posts, but I was just wondering about what the typical policy is. Thanks!

I think generally you will find it is when they hit 200 posts or close to. 🙂

And threads that are unimportant seem to go there quickly, like the 1 post members who are selling Buffy items.

Depends on the forum I guess. If something hits 200 posts it gets closed, and then usually every once and a while I do a clean out of the forums and send the older posts there. Most of the on topic forums we keep about a page of threads and the rest are moved. The Bronze I keep a few pages cause that one grows to a lot of pages.
