Buffy had been training in Egypt for about 2 months with Faith. Can you spell disaster?
"Oh"¦Hey Kennedy! It was okay. Faith and me got into a serious party situation."
"Move! B you know I'm waiting back here!" It was Faith "D*mn this bag is getting heavy."
Buffy laughed, "Come on Faith! You're a slayer! You're supposed to have strength."
Kennedy got up and went to help Faith with her bag "Man what's in this? Weapons?"
"Nah"¦" Faith flopped down on the sofa and lit a cigarette "Clothes. Mostly B's"
"Well"¦" Buffy stammered as Kennedy looked at her "What's Egypt without a serious shopping spree?"
Giles had just walked in. "Oh thank goodness! Buffy , Faith I can't take all those girls! Please"¦!"
Faith and Buffy laughed "Giles"¦Don't worry! We'll take care of it!"
"D*mn B! I thought he was tougher than that!" Faith had started down the stairs Buffy right behind him.
"Alright girls! Listen up! Faith and I have got a lot to teach you in a short time. The First has started assembling its army. We have to start training. Now!"
4 Weeks Later @ Spike's Crypt
"Spike? Are you here?" Buffy just walked in.
"Yeah"¦What do you want?"
"Your help. We need to test the potentials. Against a real vampire. Please?" Buffy was looking at Spike with that sad puppy-dog look.
"Fine. I'll get ready." Spike looked annoyed. "I can't stand those buggering girls! All that giggling and screaming!"
Buffy giggled.
In The Graveyard
"Man I hate this!" Chloe was saying to Annabelle. "Why do we have to"¦Buffy! Hi!" Buffy had just come up behind them.
"Chloe"¦pay attention!" Chloe muttered "Fine!"
"Spike is going to attack you. Don't stake or behead him but don't be afraid to hit him as hard as you can. Now he will bite you if you don't protect yourself and"¦I'll let him. I won't help you and neither will Faith. Be resourceful. Now"¦go!"
It was chaos. Chloe and Cho-Ann ran into each other and fell onto Annabelle who knocked over Rona. The only on still standing and moving was Kennedy. She had Spike pinned to the ground punching the hell out of him.
"Okay Kennedy! That's enough! Okay"¦that was"¦good."
Rona said "That was good? Buffy we sucked! We can't fight! Why do we even"¦"
"Shut-up Rona!" Kennedy was straightening her jacket. "Buffy is working her a** off here! Do you know what we are gonna have to face? It's harder than that!" She pointed at Spike. "Or should I say 'him'. Sorry Spike."
"Okay girls! We need to train harder and longer." A wave of moans groans and new complaints washed over the potentials. Buffy was looking at Willow. 'Will. Can you hear me?' Willow nodded. 'Good. Will we're losing them. We have to do something. I have a plan. Get Xander and Faith. Oh yeah...and Spike.'
Willow looked at Xander then at Faith and then at Spike. 'Guys Buffy has got a plan. Come on.'
Buffy said to the gang in a low whisper "Guys look. Attack them. Don't hold back" She was looking at Spike now. "Ready go!"
"God! What are they thinking?. Training more?!"¦Ow." Buffy had just punched Rona and she fell over.
Buffy smiled and said "Rona"¦get a grip and get over yourself"¦" She punched her again "The First isn't gonna let you go. You"¦have"¦to"¦fight"¦back!" Buffy punched her with every word. Rona hit her.
"Good. Now with power this time." Rona hit her again. "Once more"¦with feeling"¦OW!" Rona hit her really hard and Buffy stumbled.
Meanwhile Willow was working Chloe. Xander with Annabelle and Spike with Kennedy. Faith had Christie. The potential they found in Egypt. The potentials were getting the hang of fighting and had all of the gang including Buffy and Faith pinned to the ground. Buffy threw Rona off her.
She said "I don't know what's coming. But I know its going to be harder much MUCH harder than this. It will be painful. Some of us may die. Hell...I may die. But no matter what...don't stop fighting. Dont stop.Belive in us...and we will be the ones who are left standing."
Spike stood up and said "Here endth the lesson."
Buffy's House
"Wow"¦Faith those girls got the hang of it." Buffy was getting ice for Xander. He had got it bad.
"Yeah B. I mean what were you thinking? Hit em and hit em hard. What's the deal with you and Spike? I thought you were over the 'vamp with a soul' sh*t. Purely stake 'em and smile."
"Shut-up Faith!"
"Oh"¦I'm scared." Faith tripped over the pile of books Giles had been reading.
Buffy giggled "Oh"¦Really? Cause you should be?"
"You think you can take me?"
"Hell yeah"¦but not now."
"OK...chicken!"
"Look Faith...I like Spike ok? I do. Its not like guys are lining up to go out with me."
Faith looked stunned, "Sorry." She paused "Well thank god we are hot chicks with superpowers. I mean...we could get anyone...even vamps."
Buffy smiled, "Takes the edge off"
"Comforting."
"Yep."
Spike's Crypt
Buffy was walking Spike home.
"You didn't have to Buff. I can take care of myself. Don't need a bodyguard"
"Its okay. I wanted to."
They walked in and Spike said "Well"¦Do you want to stay"¦a bit?"
"Yeah...Sure."
Buffy woke up in Spike's arms. She got up and started to walk around.
"So...why are you here?" It was the First. "Aren't you supposed to be with your 'little girls' training or something?"
"Yeah. But I'm not. Big deal!"
"Instead the slayer finds comfort in her dead lovers arms. Pity. You need this time to train. I'm waiting. You don't even threaten me."
"Oh"¦I will."
"Into every generation a slayer is born. One girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampi - There's that word again. Alone. That's how you live"¦and"¦that's how you'll die."
The First vanished.
Buffy looked out the window. Spike woke up. "Buffy? What are you doing?"
"Spike"¦I just realized something. Something that never really occurred to me before. Spike"¦.we are going to win. Tomorrow."
That Morning @ Buffy's
Faith said "Buffy it's dangerous. I don't think those girls are ready."
Giles stepped in "It's bloody brilliant."
"Girls...I have a plan. We are going to start the war against the First.Not when the First is ready. Not when it has its army. Tonight. Tonight, the war will begin. Tonight, we take the fight"¦to the First. Now you don't have our power. Mine and Faith's. Listen...So here's the part where you make a choice: What if you could have that power... now?
