I just read about it in a magizine and it sound like it's gonna be cool. Plus I saw it trailor when I went to see Van Helsing. It sounds like it's gonna be great. What do you guys think?

It's got Vin Diesel in it if that means anything to anyone.

I haven't decided whether I'm gonna see it. The last movie was okay, great characters, but tired plot. This one has Alexa Davalos in it, so bonus!

To me, that meant bad things. For some reason, my initial thoughts were that it looked cool, but after realizing that it was him, I am having a hard time getting excited about it. I usually like this sort of movie, even if they are never my favorites. However, Vin Diesel just doesn't work for me. XXX was just a horrible, horrible thing. And what is with the name? Vin Diesel? I am not sure whether it would be worse to make up a name like that or to be born with it and never change it. I'm sorry for that little rant. The movie itself looks somewhat interesting. It doesn't look like anything spectacular or revolutionary, but it looks like a decent science fiction action flick, a la Total Recall. (Forgive me. I liked it.)

I've been waiting on this for ages now. I loved Pitch Black and am so glad that they are following up the character of Riddick, as there was just so much left unsaid about him. Whether it will be as good as the first one we'll just have to see.

Have you seen Pitch Black though? This movie is a sequel to that movie, which ROCKED by the way!!!!! 🙂 Even people who despise Vin Diesel have really liked Pitch Black.

I can not WAIT for the Chronicles of Riddick. Been waiting for it for years now! 🙂

I've played a demo of the Xbox game The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (which prequels Pitch Black) and it was darn good. The game gets released next month.

Yes yes I am very excited for this movie!

And it looks like a good darn movie. Since I love action flicks I loved XXX and The Fast And The Furious. Has anyone seen A Man Apart? I haven't yet. Note to self: Rent it next time you go to Blockbusters. My friends say it's good.

Vin is short for Vincent...but Vin Diesel's real name is Mark Vincent. He changed it when he started up his production company.

lol was just going to say that, might have known you would have gotten there before me!

I've seen A Man Apart, a tad on the violent side but a good movie.

I'm hoping that the game they are releasing will get a PC release too seeing as it has Johns in it!!! Which I really wanted played out in a movie but thats just me.

I still have to rent A Man Apart. Maybe this upcoming weekend.

I'll keep my eyes and ears out to see if they will do a PC release. Not altogether improbable as most games eventually get a PC release, even console-specific games like Halo.
