I got the impression it was the word that offended him not who used it. Enough people made some valid comments about the context of how it was used in the show but he stuck to his guns and was offended by the word. And the moderator backed him up which was very dictorial by her IMO, she did not allow a free discussion and her interference ramped up the rhetoric. The hypocricy of it all is how many times and shows since then I have heard the word 'retard' used.

As for the Bond comment me and BoTD had a very heated debate about how in his opinion only a Brit can play Bond. I thought Alexis Dennisof would have made a good Bond.

Quite often I have no clue what you're talking about. I have no desire to ask you to repeat yourself everytime your brain overloads with the difficult task of...typing. A lot of that lack of desire stems from the fact I pretty much have no interest in your opinion..on any subject. Of course, I might have an interest if your posts were more articulate. You know if they had a point or made sense.

I mean, lets be honest here. Cordelia hit the nail on the head when she said "tact is just not saying true stuff".

I don't think it is rude to be honest, especially since it is based on a fact that you agree with. I think, it would be rude to suggest that you are really fat, right? You are, aren't you? I just get that impression. That, I think, is rude.

There really isn't any need for any one to be rude when they tell someone they have made a mistake, and any way not all my posts are confusing that is an exageration ( i can't spell)

Back on topic: C.O.A was full of people that spoilt it for everyone else, we had the signature privilage taken away, the P.Ms for a while,and the prilivage to edit our posts. TT i agree Alexis would of made agood James bond.
 
The entire time I was there Sigs and Edits were not allowed.
I'm not sure where your facts are coming from AV, but they are a little muddled.

As for the 'full of people that spoilt it for everyone' again, I think you will find that you are incorrect.
There was an element of the site that was 'unruly' infact I would put the number of 3 at the utmost as my estimates and that is including myself.

Now actually back on topic.

TT, I loved that argument we had and it stemmed from AD as Bond.
As I stated in the thread I love AD, he is a great actor but he could never have been Bond.

Signatures were disallowed because of some technical thing. You could never edit your posts in all the time I was there. I didn't have an account when Pms were blocked. None of those things had anything to do with me, so you can take your insinuation and shove it, where many things have been shoved before.

And back to topic, yes dear old CoA, full of misfits and fits...oh how i miss thee so. Wait...no i dont.. I just miss certain people. THat are actually here, so again, no i dont. I just am reminiscent.. "Never give up on the good times.." yada yada.
 
Ok i remember asking why the editing was not alowed, and someone posted that people spoilt it for others so i naturally assumed that was the reason.

As for it being full of people that spoilt it for others, i realise now it was only a few of them, my memory of the place is vague.

It is hard not to take Dhugz seriously i have a delicate hide.

I do remember the five by five club thread though, on the last night, i think it was for the purpose of posting lyrics.(virtual karoake).
I loved that place but at times hated it.
