Has anyone read the Firefly/Serenity comics?

I'm tempted to get the Shepherd Book one

I bought "Those Left Behind" which tells the story of what happened between the end of the series and and beginning of the movie. It was pretty frickin awesome, but short

Just read the Shepherd's Tale and I feel the same as Hale Caesar. It was great but it was short. Glad i got it from the library!

I've read them now and
love the fact Zoe is pregnant
overall I really enjoyed them, Book's story was not what I was expecting

lol too late - I saw it!!
Some don't feel worth the price (living in Sweden made them more expensive) but I'm happy to own them. My least favourite is Float out. Pretty typical. Agree with nightshade's spoiler.

Really? I liked that one a lot, although I was hoping to see Wash in his mustache LOL! I liked "Those Left Behind" better than "Better Days". Haven't read The Shepherd's Tale yet.

As for price, I bought all of them except The Shepherd's Tale on Dark Horse digital when they had their 99 cents sale, or $1.99, I can't remember now! I think my local library has The Shepherd's Tale.

I think it might have been my expactations that ruined it. Since I love Wash.
I've read one of them, thought it was great. Unlike Buffy S8, I could actually imagine it happening in the show. Will definitely be reading the others when I get the chance.

If they ever have an ongoing series like Buffy and Angel that takes place after the movie I will definitely pick it up.

Yeah, all of what's been written so far takes place either before the series, or between the series & the movie. The trouble with anything post-Serenity is that we don't have Wash or Book. 🙁 But still, I would definitely like to see how everyone's getting on.

You know, I do understand this. Really it was just a short series of little events, none of them cataclysmic or anything (well, except for the
pregnancy reveal, which was just cool!
). And I had absolutely no emotional connection to any of the other characters.
