The "Cruel Intentions" Date

Second time this year SMG went to see the unauthorized Cruel Intentions musical, and this time brought gal pals and former co-stars Selma Blair and Reese Witherspoon along! Kathryn, Annette and Cecile hanging out! Earlier this year SMG was seen at the show backstage with former co-star Sean Patrick Thomas. With such a cast stamp of approval maybe this is something for fans to head towards if you're a musical fan and in the Los Feliz area. 🙂

Haha, Yea I've been seeing these pics on Instagram. I love Cruel Intentions, watched it all the time as a teen. I think it's awesome they all got together again for this. Looks like they had a great time.

Haha, had the realization earlier today that the first time I saw Cruel Intentions was like a week after my brother was born... feels like it was so long but not so long ago!

Never saw Cruel Intentions, definitely not the type of movie I'd want to sit through (maybe my mind will change sooner or later)
and I think that SMG looks a bit weird with her natural hair color 😛

You really should give it a watch. And SMG is fantastic in it, just really icy, and entertaining in a bitchy kind of way, she steals all the best lines too and delivers them with real poison. The end is a little over done, but mostly its a good updating. But do watch the original film first.

Not sure how I feel about a musical version, I know the film was packed with modern pop tunes, but it just seems like something which would better as a play. Cute photos though, Selma Blair's a really underrated actress I think.
