I woz readin the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Magazine (UK edition) n David Boreanaz yes David Boreanaz ::drool:: it in The International Brighton Centre, UK on August 29th, 30th, 31st 2003 it's a one day main event ticket Only £59, 69 and 79 per person (thats alot)
*Morning Main Stage Apperance with DAVID and supporting cast.

I wish i could go but...it's rite near my b-day (20th August) but it's a bit much then i would want an autograph n photo so that like other £100 ::crying:: I WANNA GO!!!

It is unfortunately expensive compared to other events that have been hosted in the UK.

Although I won't be able to afford this particular event, I will be jealous of anyone managing to go and hope you will share your experiences and photos with us online 😀
 
i would love to go to that.....might even splash out on it would be so cool...maybe i'll get a job there as a steward or something. They're voluntary so no money but getting to see DB for free.....priceless!!
 
Sorry to disappoint you, but it actually doesn't work like that.

You have to have a ticket purchased already in order to work as a steward at an event.

Normally for example, stewarding works well at weekend events where you don't mind helping out during talks and things you don't want to see. It also helps you get to know more people as you get approached with queries about where to go in a building etc.
 
I might be filming it, not sure if I am yet. I sent off my showreel, just have to hear back.
 
Meeting Angel

Is anyone else meeting David Boreanaz in August coz its his only European apperance and you can actually spend time with him one on one without thousands of other fans.Also did anyone else go to Blackpool and meet the cast? isnt fred lovely? If so: there are two conventions next year: FUSION and HYPERION which will both have loads of stars (already announced, connor and glory). im interested to see if people that go to conventions are also on these boards... on that topic... anyone meetng spike???? (at the harvest in June)::wave:: ::angel:: ::angel:: :: dracula ???

Going to the David event with my sister who is a big David fan it should be great I wish Andy Hallet was going.

I'm going to Harvest, planning on seeing Nicholas Brendan and David in August, but haven't got ticket yet! Its bloody expensive!
 
Im going to Brighton in August to meet David, can't wait!!! To cool can hardly contain my excitement!! Yipeeeeeeeee!!! I hope we will actually get to meet him though never been to a convention before so don't really know what to expect! Again I say yipeeeeeeee!!!!

My brother met him. I was sick with glandular fever and he went and got his autograph for me! It's very sweet. David signed take care on it - probably thought I was dying....
 
I'm jealous....I'm not even in the uk... i'm in the u.s. and i haven't even gotten to go to a buffy or angel convention... seems they don't wanna come to milwaukee, wi... i wish they'd come... cause i'd love to go to one with my best friend .... or at least chicago... i'd go... ::::::sighs:::::::::::

Hi, this is Mimi who actually posted the real thread!! not specialk, by the way. Anyway, i wanted to say hi and have fun to everyone that has been to conventions and to those of you who haven't if you go to the who shop in London, they have cast members there every week or so, so you can get an autograph v.cheap and meet them! Like Julie Benz and Juliete Landau and Andy Hallet were at one not too long back.
