Came across this today, thought it was interesting cuz it didn't seem to have some of the more "fanish" ones.

What do you guys think of their list, and remember its a list of the most tragic.

To summarise it:
7.Penny (Doctor Horible)
6.Coulson (Avengers)
5.Kitty Pryde (X-Men)
4.Fred (Angel)
3.Topher(dollhouse)
2.Joyce(Buffy)
1.Wash (serenity)

I don't know if I'd think of Coulsons as very tragic, I think Tara's was way more Tragic.
The top of are a pretty good top 5, kitty was a bad scenario, Fred, Joyce and wash were horribly tragic, but for the life of me I can't remember how Topher died!
 
SPOLIERS:
Topher had to set off his device with an explosion on the roof of the Rossum building in Epitaph part 2 in order to return everyone in the world's original memories.

I think Tara's death should have broke the list but I have never seen Doctor Horrible or an X men where Kitty dies.
 
I can definitely agree with Joyce and Fred those for me were really heart wrenching. I'm yet to watch Firefly or Dollhouse.
 
I'm not really sure about the list. It reads more like whoever wrote it just wanted to get every major Whedon project on there at least once.

I definitely agree about Wash, Joyce, and Fred. I can't comment on the others 'cause I don't watch "Dollhouse" and I haven't seen "The Avengers" yet... Oh, and I hated "Dr. Horrible" so I didn't care when Penny died.
 
I thought Kitty didn't technically die, doesn't she just fuse with a giant bullet or something?
 
Am I the only one that wasn't really bothered by Fred's death?

I cried more over Lindsey and Doyle. Do you know whose death really bugged me to this day? Anya's, it wasn't so much the death itself but the way it was handled. She was cut down, discarded and the camera moved on just like she had been a recurring guest star or something. I always felt that she deserved better than that.

She didn't die. It was a really...strange way to end Joss' arc on X-Men. I enjoyed the entire story up until the end and by that point I was just kind of like...what? Jumped the shark.

I thought Fred's death was really sad. That entire episode was kind of an ode to how special Fred is to everyone on Angel. I thought it was pretty heart-breaking.

I think it was because I never really took to her as a character, same with Wesley. I couldn't attach to the during the show so their death's never bothered me.

Ah, yeah, that would be the problem 🙂. I was a big fan of Fred and watching Wes develop over the course of the entire series was one of my favorite parts of the show. The emotional impact would be pretty much wiped out if you aren't totally invested in the two of them though.
 
Tara is truly missing on that list.

As Tueuse de Vampires said, it really does look like they prioritized to have something from every Whedon project on that list.
Not that it is anything wrong with that I guess...

This. Especially because I'm not even convinced Coulson is dead. His 'death' wasn't exactly tragic either, the spot should have gone to someone else.
