The doughnut selfie... or why we are doomed

So this chick 'invents' the doughnut selfie

And it became 'popular' to the fact that they talked about it on Good Morning America, Yahoo!, Cosmo, and the Huff. It became so popular that people wanted her to tell them how she did it.

For real? I'm sorry people, but if you cant figure that out you shouldnt be using a phone. I mean. Wow.
So then she proceeds to create a website with a TUTORIAL on how to do a flipping doughnut selfie!

I just don't understand the world sometimes... is it me? What is the big deal? Wasn't this something that you discovered you could do like 5 minutes after getting a cameraphone?

As an explanation as to why it's so popular...I don't know, simple minds are amused by simple things?

But the selfie itself is pretty cool let's say if you're someone that travels the world. You could make a pretty cool montage, but the kind of things you show your family. Not the kind of things you show the entire world lol.

haha isn't what people already do though. They take selfies of them in front of the Eiffel tower and stuff. I'm not a selfie kind of person, but looks like the rest of the world is.

After watching that video I'm now going to cosume so many donuts that I fall into a sugar-induced coma. It's the only way I can stay (relatively) happy and sane.

Hopefully when I wake up society will have finally come to its senses... after the inevitable Purge of course. 😀
