as in Angelus, Darla, Spike, & Drusilla, always seemed to me like they had an interesting life, I'm not saying I wanna be evil, but if I'd be turned into a vamp, I'd like to have a journey as one of these four, Angelus being the most feared vampire ever, Darla being one of the oldest vampires ever, both of them filled half the history books during the time they were together, Spike has two Slayers in his resume, & Drusilla has one. & all of them being descendents of The Master's bloodline, which makes them stronger than most other vampires.

besides the fun part, how many people do you think The Fanged Four have killed? I would say the body count hovers around a million, 500,000 by Angelus (after all, he is the greatest mass murderer ever), 300,000 by Darla (she's over 400 years old, so its gotta be a lot), & 200,000 by both Spike & Drusilla.

Ats had so much potential when it was cancelled, The Fanged Four had endless potential for great storylines, they always seemed like the most interesting characters on both shows, now we have the comics, they suck, everyone's out of character, & the storylines are too over the top.

I guess the topic had three points, 1- they had an interesting life 2- How many people did they kill? 3- its a shame they cancelled The Show too early, S5 had the highest ratings both Btvs & Ats had ever seen.

Does being a descendant of the Master make you stronger? I didn't know that.

As for the body count, I have no idea. I think I remember someone doing a body count thing in one of the Bangel vs. Spuffy threads...

I loved the fanged four. The flashbacks of them were some of my favorite parts of the series; I loved learning about their histories. I'm sure they all had a very high body count as they all seemed to not only enjoy killing but thrive from it. My guess is that when the four of them were together they killed even more than they normally would just to show off and egg the others on....you know a little rivalry and showing off. I think your numbers are certainly possible.

I never knew that being a descendant of the Master made them stronger than other vampires, but it totally makes sense.

There was a thread started a little while back about Angel/us's body count that you can find here :

^ The numbers on this thread are pretty neat so check it out and add in your estimates 🙂

I read an interview (or just an article, fuzzy memory) way back around the time Ats S2 was airing, & there was something about The Master having the strongest vampire bloodline. & another article later by the time Btvs S7 was airing said The Master being the link between The Ubervamps & modern vampires.

Darla said to Angel "you were a legend, not even I could keep up with you", even though she was almost double his age, so I'm pretty sure they were competing to be meanest vampire ever, Angelus got the title of the meanest vampire, & Dangel got the title of the meanest couple, but Spike & Drusilla aren't too far behind either. Spike has the title of the second worst (or best, depends on how you look at it) in history.

the calculations on that thread seems like the minimum body count for Angelus, its realistic, but in my opinion The Fanged Four, especially Angelus did a lot more damage than 50,000, he was labeled The Greatest Mass Murderer EVER, so I'd expect his numbers to be around 200,000 to 400,000, even one million by himself isn't out of the question.

I agree that their flashbacks were awesome, all of them, from the Boxer Rebellion to the humorous flashback in "The Girl in Question".

I'm gonna try and ignore your screename 😛 ....anyways "Greatest Mass Murderer" could also mean the best at commiting murder besides just meaning he killed more people than anybody else.

Yankee fan? I can sympathize with your rotation, good luck fighting with The Jays & Rays for the Wild Card.
anyway, maybe they labeled him the greatest mass murderer because of his artful form, but I doubt he only killed one guy aday, the first thing he wanted to do after waking up as a vampire was massacre his village.
