We knew Tara since Hush. None of us were aware her future held a bullet going right through her. Her death was rather random, too. When Warren shot up, the angles were all wrong as well (I don't care if it was just a show) because in life, the bullet would have either shot Tara right in the head or it would've flown straight over her head. Willow still could've been upset mistaking this for someone trying to kill her beloved Tara. Tara didn't even have to die! She could've just had severe blood loss if she was still shot or like...pushed out the window somehow or like fall through the floor...(I don't know)...Tara could've been in the hospital, aggravating Willow, but being there by Tara's side telling her she's going to make it. If Willow still went on her 'dark magicks rampage', and if Xander still went to stop Willow, Willow could've probably imagined Xander as Tara to make her feel better as she listened. Willow may have looked at all dark and strong and powerful on the outside, but inside...she was broken, devastated, and angry about what happened to Tara. Then at the end (or beginning of S7) Tara would get out of the hospital and nobody would've had to die, except ,maybe Warren still. I also believed it was pretty crap Amber was put into the opening credits the same episode she died in. It would've made more sense for her to be credited in S5. Amber didn't want to return in S7, but in the comics, they could still make her come back without needing Amber to do all the acting, as long as they don't ruin Tara.
