This is different then all the other boards you have seen with the same subject. Because you are going to make it different 😉 This is what you might call, an intelligent, peaceful, smart, longlasting debate, even a fight between all the shippers. No war, nothing like that, but... now come on! you know it's Angel!
 
well, ANGEL!! it is so obvious.... he came back from hell, he gave back his humanity, forever was in the 5th season, shall i continue? i think not because my fingers would get tired... there is so much to write.. so many, well it is WAY obvious!
 
None, whats wrong with having her not involved with anyone and being on her own. I know everyone has their own fave couples and from the past i would go with Buffy and Angel her first true love, that is someone that you will never forget. But she's doesn't need to be with someone all the time.
 
i honestly think that she has'nt found the right guy or she is just destined to be alone...i mean she was in love at least with Angel, but love doesnt always prevail...especially in their unique situation...i just hope she ends up with someone and is happy...
 
Angel ! without doubt or question. i was watching a repeat on tv from when they were togther in series two of buffy, and i actually cried because it was so lovely. Then you have to watch the painful episodes with her and spike and her and riley ( and you wince for her because its all wrong) And Angel? im sorry to say that i think hes gotten over buffy. what does anyone else think?

well there was that episode where joyce dies and he comes to comfort her.....

but in angel there is no sign these days that he ever loved her. i blame that cordelia. who does she think she is????
 
i don't think that angel has gotten over her. i don't think that he ever will. when buffy died, he did go to a grief trip, you know. it was a big, a huge hit to him, you know. but i still HATE cordy.
 
I think Buffy should be with Angel! I mean he was her first and only true love! No matter how far apart they are, life or death, they will always love eachother!

Spike is best! At least they don't cry all the time ... besides Angel is way better off with Cordy!

Angel was her first love, special yes, forever no. I think they have both moved on...besides if Angel went back to Buff, who would Cordy have???
 
Angel wasn't her first! ... There was the guy from "Never Kill a Boy on the First Date" and the guy from LA from "Lie to Me"!

no you are wrong, angel was her first and only love. we are not talking about boyfriends here. tyler was a high school boyfriend of the chickbuffy. "tyler would have to crawl on his hands and knees to get me to go to the dance with him". that sounds like love... owen was just a crush, not even the slightest hint of a crush. and ford was just who buffy said, "her giant fifth-grade crush". scott was just buffy's replacement for angel and so was parker (and look how that ended). riley was safety, the person to tell buffy, that her life is like the life of any other person, the person to go to the movies with, to have picnics and rant about professors with. She was "the normal guy". spike was buffy's hideaway from the hard reality after she returned from heaven. maybe they were in love when "once more w/ feeling" took place, but that feeling soon faded away, but buffy was used to all that. with spike she could just be robot-like and not feel, think, have meaningful discussions, she could just gather it all inside her and become Numb Buffy.
 
Okay, so maybe he was her first, but not the best, because he'll fit in this row as the boyfriend, who always made her cry. And we all know that's not a good thing, so now I'm chaning my mind and I'll take a stand, Riley was the best! ... Strange hearing that from me, because GOD I hated that guy, but in the long run, he turned out to be a cool dude! But he deserves a better girl!
 
I think that *if* Buffy has to be with someone after the final fight or whatever, she should be with Angel. They were soulmates and meant to be with eachother and I never thought that Cordelia should intrude upon that in any way. Even now, I still think of her as a kind of rebound-runner up to Buffy. Besides, Spike should be with me 😉
