The First Evil

Wouldn't anybody had liked to see The First Evil's true form more, and talk in it's true form?

It doesn't really have a form, because it's not a living thing. But that's not what I'm trying to say. What I'm trying to say is, The First Evil is not a thing. It's the source of evil, so it cannot be defeated, you can't do anything to it, because it exists everywhere and in everyone. I think it's more of a name, a title than a thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! This is just the way I understand it.

It does have a true form, that scary big clawed thingy, shown in Amends and when Willow attempts to use magic against it. I would have liked to see it more purely, it's character changed with every form it took, and we weren't really made to hate the First, I mean, it didn't do any pure evil things, it worked through others. With the other villains they did things that made us hate them, Glory hurt Tara, Angelus hurt Buffy etc.

I believe what we saw was its manifestation. Not really its form. I could be wrong.

Actually, a deep groan escaped me when I first (heh, "first" 😛) realized who the shapeshifter in S7 was. They brought back that thing from that episode? Like, really, Joss?
