Just because you said the one wanted to do the same as the other. Just made it same like you were talking about two different entities, thanks for clearing it up.

Like most of you have said, I think The First Slayer was trying to make Buffy more like her and the other slayers that came before Buffy. She may have thought of Buffy as a threat. If you think about it, the First Slayer was the original, she worked on her own and she fought evil. So did every other slayer that followed her. With Buffy there became a new way of slaying, people helped her fight the demons. When Buffy and the scoobies did the spell at the end of Seaon 4, the First Slayer got a glimpse of what Buffy was doing. She may not have realised that having others help was more benificial.
