When Buffy, Xander, Cordelia, and maybe Willow are in class, that vampire woman walks into the classroom. She tells Buffy that more will die unless Buffy comes to the graveyard that night. Then she takes off her ...head thing... and bursts into flames. I was wondering last night was possessed her to do that? If Spike, Dru or Angel said "Go do this." the vampire could have easily said ok and just skipped town. Even the undead seem to have a sense of self preservation. So, I started to think. Drusilla has some psychic abilities. Do you think it's possible she used those powers to hypnotize the vampire into going to the school, just like she did with causing Kendra to lower her guard.

Wwll, we have seen Dru in the past have the ability to influence something someone says or does. She appears to Giles as Jenny, which convinces him to tell Angelus that it is his blood that opens the portal to hell. So, I think it's safe to say that she does have these types of controlling (mind or body) abilities - but who knows how often she's sane enough to use them.

Maybe the vampire messenger was just stupid enough to believe Angel when he told her, "Trust me, all that 'burning up in the sunlight' thing's just something that hack fiction writers cooked up for tv and the movies. It doesn't really happen that way." If she had just been turned, and wasn't too bright to begin with, that might have been all that it would take.

Maybe Dru had something to do with that with her powers, but vampires are just evil, and I think they would sacrafice themselves for another evil thing.
perhaps she was just devoted to her leaders. I mean if she thought Angelus was the biggest hottest bad around perhaps she would just do just about anything to please him
