The Flue Epidemic

Damn this flue epidemic. I never knew it was this serious. Every state in the US has reports of the flue, and some people have died from it already. I have the flue 🙁 My parents are debating taking me to the hospital. Remember me... 🙁

What do you think about it?

the flu definately is the gayest...ever...

but this flu isn't that different...people always die from the flu...something like 300k world wide..so...its a wonder why the flu it hasn't gotten more air time...
 
I had the flu over thanksgiving. It's still kinda there for me. It sucks, atleast I get to miss some school!
 
Well, why is it so bad thing year? Like, I always knew people died from it, but why are they making such a big deal outta it this year?
 
Its a different strain of the flu, and the vaccine doesn't work on this strain of the flu. Its why they are taking it so seriously. Mainly, it affects children and elderly people right now. As far as I know, I haven't checked the news for awhile now.

I, myself, have a high immune system so I don't really get affected at all by colds. Mom always thought I was weird, because I'd never get sick. 😛

Angelsgirl is right, they have 3 different strains of the flu in this years vaccine, and none of them are the correct strain, that with this strain just happenings to be very strong is the reason

its happened before where the strain in the vaccine was incorrect, but its never happened with such a strong strain
 
I have a low immune system. I've been taking medicine that made my immune system low. That's probably why I got it.
 
I actually get off them today, so, everything is all good. BUT, my parents are such hypocrits. They were gunna take me to the hospital saturday night, yet they are making me to go to school today.
